Okay, y'all know the episode Fame and Misfortune right?
...Okay, really stupid question. Episode even the original scriptwriter hated and actually said should never be used, until someone else found the script and submitted it. Not sure if the episode's one of the funniest, as it does poke fun at some of the more loony fans of the show, and the writers venting their frustrations, or if this second reason makes it one of the most mean spirited.
But that's not what I'm here to talk about.
No, what I want to talk about is how the Mane Six or their friends might deal with some of the loonier fans once the "We're Not Perfect" song fails. Of course, I could have Twilight write a scathing letter to the nuttier fans, but that's so out of character in so many ways I can't even begin to explain how wrong that would be for her.
So, other suggestions on how Starlight, or any of the other Mane Cast or hell... even one of the Royal Sisters or maybe Discord should deal with this problem or should I scrap this idea entirely?

I say the same way that Hollywood celebrates deal with it, court orders. You can have them reacting to these type of fans from trying to be nice to rage. How would Pinkie react to ponies interrupting her work at Sugercube Corner? How would Applejack react to ponies being all over her family farm? Just imagine the first ponies who upset Fluttershy near her animals or Discord? Just try and keep it light hearted, no crazy stalker or sickos in love with them.
Mayhaps Royal Canterlot Voice them to the moon?
I think both Celestia and Luna should come and defuse the situation.
More like how they deal with her exposing Daring Do being a real person! Poor AK Yearling!!!!
The most natural path would be for Starlight to try and intervene through magic only for it to backlash and create more controversy like why the Mane 6 would associate with a former villain. Though that sounds more Starlight-centric for a fic. I love her but this story ain't about her.
Maybe have the Mane 6 and their friends help each other deal with their 'fans' and 'critics' like the Sweet Apple Acre Admirers mooching off Aj and her family. Who would be most suitable to get them out?
Fluttershy with her animal friends arriving to 'help' with the harvest but the sight of a bear and maybe a manticore?
Rainbow with a surprise shower, forcing the admirers to hide out in the barn where the animals are kept(ironic in a way)?
Or just sic Pinkie on them with her over exuberant self.
Pinkie's walking laugh track...Maud. Smashing a cliff face when they laugh at her sister.
Rarity's is hard since rumors will spread regardless of what they do, maybe have AJ or Rainbow confront them and tell them how Rarity actually contributed?
