Call Me Deathstroke: About my version of Slade... · 3:05pm Jan 13th, 2018
Hey, guys. Thought I'd talk a little bit about my rendition of Deathstroke for Call Me Deathstroke. The more I learn about the guy, and the more I hear you guys talk about hearing Ron Pearlman's voice for him, the more I come to realize that my version of Slade Wilson is an amagamation of various Deathstrokes throughout media. He has the skills and abilities of comic book Deathstroke, with a few Arkham Origins weapons thrown in, the voice of Ron Pearlman (although, admittedly, I was going for more Manu Bennet's Deathstroke, but whatever) and the genuine love for his family that Manu Bennet's Deathstroke exhibits.
Also, here's a video I found.
You know what your Deathstroke doesn't have? A personality. So far, you have written a quite fitting FPS main character due to the absolute lack of any characterization that makes him distinguishable. That, and the fact he pretty much gives all his life's backstory at the first person who asks, make him pretty much a cardboard cutout that talks.
