Announcements for the new year · 3:21pm Dec 31st, 2017
Ok, so a lot of announcements for the new year and some of the plans I have for it all,
Get ready, some of it may shock and amaze you.
First of all, some of you might noctice that Harmony of the Moon is walking around with a complete on it's page. There is a reason for this... See, when I started writing this story, both me and the show were different. Not in a "The characters had way too much development and now there are no new ideas" kind of way or in a "The characters no longer have their flaws and no conflicts" way. More of an...I've improved and the show has improved kind of way. By wich I mean, the story that is Harmony of the Moon just doesn't fly with who I am anymore. The things I've learned as a writer and the things I've done. The stories I've written and will write just doesn't match up with this anymore. Hell, I looked at it and couldn't imagine the ideas anymore.
For example, this was written before Equestria's Mirage, so I had Trixie as a villian. But now? After doing so much with her, making her into a hero on her own terms...I can't see her as a bad girl anymore. Gilda or Lighting Dust being a villian for Dashie just doesn't work anymore considering Equestria's Mirage two made me care for them. The rest of the plot feels cliche and the story just doesn't fly.
However, don't lose heart...I have plans for this one. Watch this space in Feburary or March.
Next up, expect some sort chapter based non epics. I have a few ideas rolling around and since G5 is on the horizon, I better get them out soon.
Lastly, on the Youtube section of my life and the live reads. Fans might have noticed this
Yes, that's right, I am going to riff on a certain fic. Those of you who might come here for me celebrating the wide range of Ponyfics and the greatness of them all, I am sorry but you won't be getting that. This will be purely a riff along with some bonus content. If you remember, last year I read a One Piece fic where I did the samething, well this time it will be on purpose. Just don't expect me to bring out the RWBY cast to save the day or to play as the girls.
Other than that, I hope you fans will enjoy my little riff session
