This is Usagi Tsukino, she is 16 years old and a bit of a crybaby, but in actuallity she is a soldier of love and justice-Sailor moon. One fine day, she awakens in the magical land of Equestria without a clue as to who sent her there, why she is needed, or where her dearest friends are. Armed with all of her powers and the help of six loyal friends, she hopes to find out why she has been brought here and maybe...just maybe, have a whole lot of fun while she is at it.

By the way, although we know Fluttershy wouldn't pair up with a senshi (I think Chibi-usa would be a great little filly for Fluttershy to babysit). I'm going to make an assumption here, Fluttershy's going to pair up with Mamoru?
This chapter was great.
And what really got me was that both the Sailor Moon's and the Elements helped each other take down the monster. Neither side looked weak or unable to handle themselves. Far too many times in crossover fimfiction do I see this. {Making the FIM characters look weak against whatever the crossover thing they are fighting with.} It's tiring. I'm glad you didn't do that and that's what made this so enjoyable.
And are these the Shadow demons from the comic? {The one with Nightmare Rarity.}
Hmm. Metalia needs a soldier, eh? Judging from past experience, her ideal candidate would be somepony with a lot of ambition, an unrealistic self-concept, a misguided sense of being wronged AND not much in the way of brainpower. I think we have a candidate ready to hand, don't you?

Yeeeeah...don't know why I kept thinking 9 in that part. I think its because I can't count, or that I lost track. I think what happened was I was thinking of another crossover entirely and I mixed up. I think I was thinking of a crossover I was writing with Winx and W.I.T.C.H and got it mixed up with this.

From what I remember of the actual show (Japanese version not the mangled American dub) Mamaro was a complete jerk to Usagi several times over the course of the series and I'm talking about after they started dating. Not to mention he was in college when she was only 14? Creepy much? Of course, Japan.

Well, there was a good reason why I picked the different species. For one, symmtery, I wanted to make it 3-for3-for 3 and even the team out. Second, it was also due to their personalities and characters.
Usagi was a unicorn because of her magic and princesshood. (if she was in her princess serenity or eternal state, then we talk alicornhood)
Ami became an earth pony because she is a very down to earth girl, shy and quiet. Also, she has a connection to water similar to the earth ponies connection to the land.
Rei became an unicorn because of here desire to be a shinto priestess, her inner magic and rituals. Also, unicorns are most assigned to be eligant, and Rei is loved by most of her school and is considered beautiful by almost every one.
Makato became a pegasus for two reasons, 1) her weather control as she has mostly lightning attacks mixed with wood. 2) I wanted to play around with her fear of planes and making her the thing she fears most was something I wanted to try.
Minako, being aglie and acrobatic and the most like Dash out of the five became a pegasus
Haruka is associated with the sky, it is even in her name (Heavenly sky god) so pegasus was the first one that was on my mind.
Michiru and Hoatru, sadly, are victims of me wanting to be even and I noticed that I didn't have three earth ponies.
Setsuna is based off of how many pictures I see dipicting her as an unicorn. So I went with that
