I thought of a new crossover story idea. Whether I’ll end up writing it remains to be seen, but if you’re curious, click the link below.

I'm honestly amazed that no one's done this yet. Every knight needs a steed. And if that steed comes with his own shovel, well, so much the better.
...go on.

The image is below a page break, which IIRC should appear as a “read more” link in the blog feed.

You mean the picture? Okay, I get what you mean but thats a picture of a story, not an actual link ti a story. Unless you're actually putting the story on Imgur its confusing and misleading as hell.

No, not the picture. If you read through your blog feed, this post should only show the first line, followed by a text link that says “read more.” It should look something like this:
See, I also made the connection between Shovel Knight and Rockhoof. The problem is that neither character really has any personality traits besides 'valorous', especially the former. In an action platformer, that's fine, but not so much for a fantasy epic.

I’d disagree with that. Shovel Knight in-game is repeatedly shown to be well-mannered and courteous. Though he certainly will kick your ass if you prove yourself to have ill intentions, he’ll generally try to settle disputes with words first. This is easily seen if you compare his interactions with the Order of No Quarter to his interactions with the roaming bosses. Heck, he’s actually fairly polite to a few members of the Order, too.
Rockhoof, by contrast, is very nearly the opposite. In the Legends of Magic comic series, he’s shown to be hot-blooded, enthusiastic, and boisterous, so much so that it’s both his greatest strength and his central character flaw. This would make him an extremely effective foil for Shovel Knight, as their directly clashing personalities open up a lot of potential for character interactions.

Huh. Well, now I'm interested.
Well, I'd read it.
