    My story, and why writing MLP leaves me now.... conflicted

    I think my last post was brief, so I might as well go into some detail here about my story, why I started writing mlp fanfic, and what is happening now.

    G5: OH THE IRONY...

    You know, it's really really funny... G5 has all the three tribes of ponies hating each other, and living in a modern setting centuries after FiM. I wrote about this very ideas years ago, before G5 was ever conceived of, in a story where Celestia and Luna go on a vacation incognito to the earth pony town of Coltonville, and find pony hatred and paranoia, as well as a conspiracy against unicorn

    Returning for real this time

    Okay, everybody, Paradise/Tornado here again! Yes I know it's been a year, but I needed time to recover from a ten-year burnout in writing, and it took awhile to get my creative juices flowing again. I'm putting together plans for a new story or two, though my plans for my 'big finish' story are on hold again. I hope many of you are still here, and look forward to entertaining all of you with my

A Pony's ghost tale, Part two · 3:07am Oct 23rd, 2017

The town of Ponyville, centuries later

In the town of Ponyville, there was very little to be afraid of. A bright and colorful community, the ponies who live there have little to fear or fret from. Princess Wysteria rules over a peaceful and prosperous town, filled with little ponies who just love to play and have fun. But there are things outside the village, however, which the ponies have learned to fear, and avoid at all costs. But even here, in this peaceful place, there are those who do not heed the words of wisdom, and were bold enough to venture into the unknown.

"Ohhh, dear... are you sure we should out here, Puzzlemint?" Shenanigans asked nervously, trotting quietly behind the mare. "I mean, nobody is supposed to go to that big old scary haunted house at the edge of town, y'know?"

"Oh Blimey, you are such an absolute rotter!" Puzzlemint shot back, staring at the stallion behind her. "You're the stallion who loves going on adventures, and getting into trouble! How could you possibly be scared of an old, creaky house?!"

"Hey, I can deal with wild animals and dangerous waterfalls, but ghosts and spooks? No way!" Shenanigans tried to keep his teeth from chattering. "I'm willing to face any monster alive on this planet, but I wouldn't be caught dead fighting the dead!"

The two followed the path out of town, and entered the dark forest. it wasn't long before they found themselves on a silent path winding through the woods, all forlorn and overgrown with weeds. It wasn't very long before the approached an old, abandoned two-story mansion with darkened windows, and shutters that banged in the wind. The two ponies trotted up the stairs, and pushed open the door with their hooves.

"Blimey, this place is more creepy than a horror movie!" Puzzlemint exclaimed, as the two trotted themselves up the creaky old stairs. "I keep waiting for something to pop out of the darkness at us!"

The pair of ponies reached the top of the stairs, and stared down the darkened hallway ahead of them. As Puzzlemint and Shenanigans slowly made their ways down the hall, the candles on the wall lit their path. Arriving at the large set of bronze doors, the two ponies pushed their way into the large room before them.

"Oh my word.... Puzzle, this looks like it's the ballroom!" Shenanigans exclaimed, as they both looked around at the elaborately decorated chamber. "They must have had some really wild parties here!"

At that instant, an invisible band began to play on the bandstand, and the two ponies saw a bunch of instruments floating in that spot as the played. Translucent pony couples, dressed in the finest formal wear in Equestria danced in the ballroom all around them. And the two ponies felt an odd desire to join in on the eerie waltz.

"Ahhh, Puzzlemint! Ghostly dancers!" Shenanigans cried out. "We gotta get out here, right now!"

"Blimey, I really agree with you, but..." Puzzlemint trailed off, as in a trance. "I feel so compelled... to dance...."

The two ponies began to dance, and joined in the delicate dance. The two ponies danced all through the night, even as the house faded away in the morning light.

The next day, though the ponies of Ponyville looked everywhere, they could find no trace of their two friends.

Shenanigans;

and Puzzlemint;

had disappeared entirely, never to seen in Ponyville again....
