Break Away: The Alicorn Amulet Collaboration - now live! · 5:54am Oct 6th, 2017
Some months ago, I talked about Cleverpun's Break Away collaboration. The premise of the story is that the Princesses have come up with a plan to destroy the Alicorn Amulet - it is too powerful to simply be snapped in half, but every time a pony willingly defies its power, it loses a bit of its strength.
Thus, in order to break the Alicorn Amulet permanently, Twilight, Celestia, Luna, and Cadance have all set up a veritable fortress to hold the amulet in, and sought out volunteers from across Equestria who might resist the amulet's power.
Break Away: The Alicorn Amulet Collaboration has now been posted. Cleverpun already posted her chapter about Cadance, and my chapter about Twilight should be going up soon (I have to admit, it took me a while to beat the rust off my gears of writing - it has been far too long since I wrote a significant amount of prose fiction).
If the idea sounds interesting to you, you should definitely give it a read. I've enjoyed the chapters I've read that people were working on, so I am looking forward to seeing all the finished products.
