The power plug to my loptop broke off inside the computer. Now, I have to send it off to get it fixed. Should take about two weeks. My husband did manage to save my drafts so I may be able to keep writing while I wait.
Damn! I can't believe what happened in Las Vegas. No, I CAN believe what happened in Las Vegas. Only, this time, it wasn't a gay bar. It was a Country Music festival. That's about as conservative a group as you can get. I asked someone at work if he thought those crazy church people might show up with signs saying it was God's punishment for letting gay people have rights. He said he doubted it.
I don't know what to think about gun control. Everybody worries whenever there's a shooting like this. Some are worried there will be more deaths. Others worry the government will take our guns and our freedom. The thing is, it is easier to control the sale of an inanimate object than it is to control people.
And lastly, Tom Petty passed away. Damn! You know you're getting old when the singers who provided the soundtrack for your youth die of heart attacks.
