What's been going on

So I haven't put up an update nor a chapter in quite some time and you all are owed an explanation.
Change the Heart is not cancelled, don't worry, it's still being worked on.
I haven't been in a mood to write much lately since my dog passed, and then there have been a lot of issues with work and friends that have been keeping me from actually coming online. I've been getting more hours, which is good, but that also means I'm drained after I get home a lot more and spend most of my free time just recharging. As for friends, I've been losing contact with ones I've been really close with back and forth and that has led to a rather... less than productive mood.
All that being said, I am still working on this story and I will finish it.
Chapter 14 has been restarted and I'm hoping to spend my free time now working on it and finishing up the rest of the story.
I'm looking forward to getting the chapter out because it should answer a few questions that have been raised, as well as give us the push into the final stretch.
On a somewhat related subject, I've also gotten back to catching up on the show (I last saw only the first few episodes of season 6) and am now on the finale for season 6. Have to say I was surprised to see Chrysalis return, as well as the changelings as non-background characters. Nothing in CtH will change as a result of the new episodes since I've already got everything all planned out as far as this book goes and further changes will just lead to it being delayed even longer, but it may change up a few things I had planned going forward.
Something I've been working on has been a look into the past of Chrysalis and the changelings, as well as a certain other pony sect, and this may be good for research. Also, I shouldn't have been surprised at how young changelings look, but seeing them in the episode with Thorax was a shock.
