I was supposed to release a brand new story yesterday, to coincide with Sunset Shimmer Day 2017. However, due to a number of factors—the leading one being that I needed to make the story's cover art, which took way too long—it didn't arrive.
However...
...that doesn't mean the fic isn't going to come out, of course.

Don't Leave Me With Myself
Everyone knows that Sunset Shimmer and Rainbow Dash are the bravest girls at CHS. But when the duo travels into Sunset’s mind to fight her literal inner demon—a shapeshifter that will take the form of their worst fears—they'll have to face a threat they never expected: each other.
This fic is completely unrelated to the other Sunset and Celestia fic I talked about a while ago (a fic that is still being worked on, don't worry) [1]. I wrote the first draft of this story for this month's Writeoff competition, "True Colors," where it won 4th place out of 21 entries.
It's four chapters long, and the first two chapters will be out on Monday.
I spent this past month judging for Oroboro's Sunset Shimmer Shipping contest. You can find the results for that here, but there are a number of fics that I'd like to spotlight, even if they didn't score well. Even fics that scored low had some really lovely stuff in them, and I'd like to give them the credit they're due. If you didn't place in the results and you saw me fave your story, expect a blogpost soon where I'll offer a short review/signal boost of your story.
Now that it's over, I think it's high time that I start my own contest. Just have to pick the topic. Um...

[1]: I feel bad sometimes for writing so much EqG stuff. I imagine there has to be at least a few of you out there who don't care for it, and are waiting for me to return to ponies. It's not like I hate ponies or anything—I've actually gotten back to watching new episodes lately, which I love—but EqG just gives me a lot more ideas. I do actually have a pony story drafted up that needs to be edited and added to. And I just got an idea for a pony story that I might test out in the next Writeoff. I just hope I'm entertaining all of you.
