New Story: Crucible of Stars · 6:16pm Sep 19th, 2017
Good morning, fellow orbiting bodies. I wrote a thing and it's neat. Kinda weird and fluffy and a little purple, and honestly it could probably use some work still, but what can't, really? I had fun making it and preliminary opinions tell me at least 40% of readers survived initial exposure.
It was inspired by a late night conversation on the Writeoff Discord chat with Light Striker (something about neutron stars and The Lion King), so big thanks to her for being awake at the same screwed up hours I used to be.
I also did the art myself, so that's a first. (Apologies to Emerald Flight: I know we talked about it, but I was feeling creative and kinda wanted to try my hand at things.) And by "did the art" I mean "found a decent picture and put some Photoshop paint on top of it," because that's my skill level at present. Still more advanced than "screen capture from an episode," so I feel good.
