And more importantly to me because calendar breakpoints are functionally arbitrary: new story going up soon. Soon-ish, it's in queue, however long that takes. Nothing too fancy or too long, just a mildly expanded version of one of my recent WriteOff entries.
Special thanks to No Raisin for whipping me to actually work on it, though I don't think I went the direction either of us expected with it and honestly I should probably buy a six pack and just keep polishing, but hey that's how it is sometimes. I feel like there were bigger questions presented originally—and side note: an honest thanks to Trick Question for her unique perspective that made more of those questions crystallize—that are a bit beyond me to answer properly, but there's plenty of joy to be had in presenting them for someone else to answer, too, so hey.
