A Torn-Up Note

We were wrong about it all. The end is never the end and they showed us that.

Damn, how long has it been since I did one of these? It's been getting very busy around here as finals week is approaching. Stress is getting high and time is getting strained... Badly. I haven't played any video games for the past week and it's starting to show as my hands are starting to shake like their pressing sticks and buttons. (Not really.) Not only that, but I've left behind my

I am screaming on the inside... · 5:39pm Sep 8th, 2017

Welp. Any plans I had on finishing my stories just went out the fucking window! Apparently, when my high school said that my google account would be deactivated in a few years, they meant literary right after summer. And now, all of my stories, the ones I spent hours working on, are gone forever! FUCK ME!

I'm sorry to hear that. Is there a way you could make a new Google account?

It helps to back up writing on an external drive or flash drive. I do both out of paranoia. :L

I understand what it is like to lose writing, before I started backing up things, I had a computer that literally ate all of the data on it and then exploded. <_<

Needless to day, I back everything up now.

Ouch... hug?

I have two different google accounts. The one I had my work on was a school one, and I was expecting to have more time with it before it was deactivated.

I will gladly accept that hug... Celestia knows I need some right now...

4662218
*hugggssss!!!!*

4662218 That really sucks. Maybe you could start putting your writing on your other google and backing it up in other ways as well. :(

Also many hugs to you my friend.

Wait, you mean like it was on one-drive?

*Offers a HUGE hug*

Thank you for the hugs!

4662236
I plan on doing that from now on...

No, my school had a gmail account which I wrote most my stories on and I didn't save them to my personal google account, so when they deleted the account, everything was lost.

What? this is.... THIS IS TERRIBLE!!

This is idiotic!!! Are you SURE that this wasn't a personal attack?

4662350
I'm sure. All my stuff was on a school account and since I don't go there anymore, they deactivated that account, so... Yeah.

4662356
Still, this was really sad. PS. Try having a backup on another computer, that way the stories would be a little bit safer.

4662366
I understand and thank you

4662313 You are very welcome for the hugs. I hope that your day gets better.

Oof, high school accounts suck.

There are ways to sign into a personal google account under high school restrictions, though! I keep any docs like that there. Just for future reference! If you rewrite them, then good luck! :D

They may still let you have access to it, accounts never just vanish, those accounts just have the public access taken off. If you tell them you had some personal documents on there that you didn't have a chance to remove because they told you you'd have more time, they should be able to give you temporary access back to it. I know this after having a few of my own things/accounts "deleted"
