It is a good and noble thing to tell a good story.

    I'm still here

It's been a year since I've written anything. But being quarantined has given me some free time. I'm sure most of my followers have left but in case you're also still here a few questions.

If I gave up any of my unfinished stories for adoption would you want one?

If I wrote another chapter of something would you read it?

Its been awhile and I'm sorry this isn't an update

I know i haven't been active in a long while, but one thing I appreciate about this community is that it's a safe anonymous space and i have a small situation I'd like y'all's take on.

Promises now has an audio version

Promises was my first real story on here, it garnered enough support to let me know my writing had a plae on this website. It's not perfect but I'm still proud of it.

    Overwatch

Obvious disclosure, this blog has nothing to do with MLP. It’s not a story so it doesn’t violate site rules and it’s something I’ve felt like writing and y’all are my audience for my creative output. If  you don’t like Overwatch and/or don’t care what I have to say move along, I’ll try to have a new chapter of something soon.

    I love Overwatch.

    Signal boosting some life advice

There's a blog going around about an incident that occurred at a convention. I'm not of the convention going community so I have no voice in this. It's up to convention goers to decide what type of community they are and how to get there.

An Apology of Sorts · 2:14am Aug 7th, 2017

I opened up the gdocs for No Worse Want for the first time since July 12th today.

I could say life has been busy with work/socializing and it has, but no busier than usual in that everyone's life ebbs and flows.

Some of it is because the show has been on hiatus and that takes me out of this universe/ dries up my most fertile source of inspiration, but the show's been gone before and I still wrote things

But the actual cause of my hiatus is more insidious. I haven't felt like writing. I've had writers block before, this isn't it. This is pure "I don't care if my story gets written right now". Lots of authors have left this site and I understand why in a way I didn't before. I've been here for a little over 3 years now and for the first time I can see the exit. Interest wanes, I don't get excited about new stories as I did before. Rage reviews has died down and that was a corner I enjoyed.

In case your freaking out (though why would you be) this isn't a "Smell ya later fimfic post". I'm still here and I still have every intention of finishing No Worse Want. I've promised myself that if I ever do leave the site I would finish the first story I ever wrote on here Deal with the Devil and I intend to keep that promise.

I'm not quite ready to pick up the pen again, but I'm working up to it. So thanks for your patience. I promise another chapter is coming.

You're around! I was worried.

You have nothing to be ashamed of. I've been meaning to work on my fics since last Christmas. Has it happened? Kinda. Just need to proofread but that's beside the point. What I'm trying to say is that remembering to make an effort is better than making no effort at all. I will try to update as well. Also if you still want me to help proof read, I'd be glad to

I feel for you; that kind of a loss of motivation is just as bad as old-fashioned writer's block, only more insidious.

Good luck!

Since July? Pfft.:rainbowlaugh:

I haven't written a thing since April!

...

I'll go cry now.:pinkiesad2:

Stuff happens. I wouldn't say my interest in ponies died ever, but I have been focusing way more on making games and learning how to do that over my writing. Hopefully, I can keep both going...

Would you say, when you finish this story, would you still stick around this site to read stuff?

Short answer is yes, the longer answer is I don't know, but I'd like to think so.
