I've come up with an idea that was based on the episode "Ponyville confidential", but I'm going to need some help makinClosed)g it into a story. I would make the story myself if I could. But I'm not a fanfiction writer, I'm a fanfiction beta reader. The reason why I'm not a real author is because I'm not good with story details. But I don't mind having someone work out the detailing of the story, as long as I'm in the description saying "inspired by Waspinator331".
Instead of staying in Ponyville to see the reaction of ponies reading the apology newspaper, what if the cmc actually decided to run away from Ponyville. They probably would have done it after the apology newspaper which would also say, "by the time you finished reading this paper, we would probably be five miles away from Ponyville seeing as if we are not welcomed anymore." After reading the paper, Cheerilee goes to Mayor Mare to tell her that Diamond Tiara was the mastermind of the whole Gabby Gums incident, that the crusaders were just the pawns, and that they were being blackmailed. Mayor Mare then calls for a town meeting to tell everypony what Cheerilee told her. Having the understanding of the situation, the ponies of Ponyville organize a search party to find the crusaders and bring them home. The crusaders were wandering around the Everfree Forrest until they were found by the royal guards who were out on patrol and had escort the cmc to Canterlot. They were brought before the royal sisters and explained to them why they ran away from Ponyville. Princess Celestia then writes a letter to Twilight to inform her that the CMC are in Canterlot and requested that she and her five friends come to Canterlot as soon as they can. The mane six arrived at Canterlot and went to go see Celestia. The princess of the sun tells them that while she is a little disappointed with the crusaders for their actions as Gabby Gums, she is also disappointed about how the mane six didn't give the crusaders a chance to explain themselves and more disappointed about how Twilight and Rainbow Dash treated them. After listening to Celestia's lecture, the mane six apologizes to the crusaders and promises that if they do something bad again, they will give them a chance to explain, and both Twilight and Rainbow Dash apologized for getting carried away with the bubble shield and the raincloud and promises to make it up to them. Rainbow Dash would take the crusaders to the next Wonderbolt air show and has promised to spend time with Scootaloo all day the next day, Applejack, Granny Smith, and Big Mac would have Apple Bloom invite her friends to join them on their Apple Family picnic, and Twilight would have the crusaders over for a sleepover. Before they took the next train to Ponyville, Celestia asks Twilight to tell Filthy Rich and his daughter that she will come to Ponyville so that she would have a word with them. Upon arriving at Ponyville, the crusaders were surprised to see a party (organized by Pinkie Pie before leaving for Canterlot) had been waiting for them with a banner that says "welcome home crusaders and we forgive you". Days went by and everyone had forgotten all about the Gabby Gums incident. After having a meeting with Celestia, Diamond Tiara was sentenced to do community service for the rest of the school year and until it was done, her tiara was confiscated her by father who had also cut off 80% of her allowance. In the end, Ponyville has forgiven the crusaders and Diamond Tiara got what was coming to her.

You know, I never considered it since all Applejack did was just giving them the silent treatment. I'm mostly upset about how Twilight and Rainbow Dash treated the CMC. But since you put it that way, you can go ahead and put that in the story.

Well I was thinking Princess Celestia or Princess Luna get involved because I haven't seen many fics where they do. I think Celestia would be disappointed in twilight and Rainbow for their actions even Applejack and Big Mac. It is because of her the Apple family is doing well.

Not bad. Somehow Twilight, Rainbow and Applejack need a fitting punishment because they committed child neglect and child abandonment in Applejack case. That can be said for Big Mac too. The punishment I would give Twilight is being a janitor at an orphanage for a month and has to clean it without her magic.
Rainbow should be barred from the wonderbolt show for a bit.
Applejack is the hard one because she did commit a crime. And in the show lore ponies without a cutie mark are considered minors. So it would have to harsh but not too harsh that she loses the farm. Sure maybe some time in the dungeons but you can choose that one and remember Big Mac committed it too.

I don't think they actually kicked her out, Big Mac just told the girls to leave them be ( which is not the same as being kicked out). Even if they did, Granny Smith would probably have a say in this, and would probably have a fit with them if anything were to happen to the youngest member of the Apple Family. However, I can add this to my idea. Applejack, Granny Smith, and Big Mac would have Apple Bloom invite her friends to join them on their Apple Family picnic
All I want is for my story idea to have a happy ending not just for the crusaders, but for everyone...well, except for Diamond Tiara .

I don't think I'd see Celestia DISAPPOINTED in the CMC's, seeing that when explaining to her that they ALREADY wanted OUT of the whole GABBY GUMS fiasco, D.T. force them to stay by utilizing BLACKMAILING photos just because the stories being brought to her wasn't up to her standards. Not to mention that the townsfolk themselves got entirely SUCKED UP into the fascination with the lives of others, they kept ASKING FOR MORE until it started to target them & the MANE SIX themselves are NO EXCEPTION to all of it.

Wasn't Ms. Cherilee away from Ponyville at the time? In addition I speculate that the reason the CMC's didn't went to her about this was because if they did she still would need prove. Not to mention she's probably seen D.T.'s reign on BULLYING on them before but for some reason refuse to do anything about it because she speculated that it would all brush over later.
