The puttering continues! · 2:06am Jul 12th, 2017
Alright, first the most recent three posts from my main blog. All short'n'quick. I will summerize the already short intro bits with pithy one liners.
Pony Stories 768
Where I admit I gave in and have a Discord account now in the vain hope of getting more D&D players.
Pony Stories 767
Apparently a spambot thinks the books I read in 2012 are a taboo subject.

We did survive, but did not get the magic sword.
My attempts to run a weekly Dungeons & Dragons game continues to be a struggle. Now that I've got a Discord account and server, maybe I can expand outside of the chat site I was using before. One can hope. Anyone out there want to roll some dice on a weekly basis? Either my Dungeons & Dragons campaign, or I've been tempted to put my pony worldbook up as a blog/wiki and run some pony tabletop gaming.
What edition of D&D, and what night/time? I might be able to send some people your way.

My own houseruled version of the earliest versions of D&D. 3d6 in order, very rules-light. My opinion is that a player shouldn't need to know the rules to sit down in play. Everything should be simple enough to be explained as the game goes. As for day/time, pretty wide open. Not Wednesday afternoons, not Tuesday nights, not Sunday. ExiledFuture.com in case anyone wants to look over campaign setting and rules.

I ran it by my husband, and he doesn't know anyone looking for a game personally, but he suggested the OSR community on G+. It's pretty common for people to be using modded early D&D stuff, and the community there is super active. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the effort!
I've been reading OSR blogs for years now, but google+ confuses me so it's been something of a frustration that the OSR stuff has been moving over there.
