Work.... was wonderful today. · 3:59am Jul 10th, 2017
I was a very smooth, not too busy, not too slow, night. Everything went well. I got done at 9:22 but only becasue people refused to leave. I was done with most everything by 8:30-ish. Also I found out I’m getting a raise. Going to be making 10-something bucks an hour now. Which is pretty awesome. Fun Fact: I’ve been working there for over 2 years.
Oh, so apparently the younger boss (boss who works on sundays.) had a talk with Dick. Boss said. “It’s not fair to him (me) to get called only a few hours before he’s (I am) supposed to go into work.”
His response. “It’s just too stressful.”
I honestly didn’t have much of a response beyond. “Well, yeah. It’s a job, it’s going to get stressful.”
He went on to tell me that Dick wanted the have them hire a friend of his so they both could work his days.
Bosses response to that. “Yeah, that’s not going to happen.” Dick apparently used the It’s too stressful line a few times during their conversation. He honestly thought that Dick was going to quit right there, but he didn’t. He told Dick to start coming in at 4, like I do, and if it gets too much for him to handle then they can look for someone else.
So I’m not going to be switching him days on a matter of principle now. Not counting this tuesday because we already had an agreement on that that we made when I took last friday.
I other non-work related news. I am in love with Shadow of Mordor. It’s like a better version of Assassin’s Creed set in Middle Earth 
(please don’t hate me.) Also I am going to force myself to finish the next chapter of I Am Become Death tomorrow. I will have to see if I have enough muse after that to keep writing, so we’ll see.
Edit: And this made my night better.

Sounds like you're having some plain old adult fun.
Although B.C.'s minimum wage is increasing to $11.35/hr
But I'm not doing much better, I started with a wage of $10.45 and worked up to $11.80 so far.
But working with my dad is fun cause he pays me $25/hr with the jobs he does.

Nice! I started at 8.40-ish an hour. Apparently minimum wage is going up to 12-something bucks an hour in a few months here.
Also I too am excited to finish the update.

Probably gonna be stuck on that for a bit doing all the achievements.

I'm glad all that got straightened out man.
That minimum wage bill passed earlier this year... as much as I like getting paid more, people didn't seem top think that through. Some complained they couldn't live off of minimum wage, and they were right. it was meant to be a stepping stone for youth to learn about responsibility and the work place. So they figured "let's make them gicve us more money." But they forgot that the gov can also raise the price of living.
Example: I went to Walmart about two months after the bill passed. I wanted to get hamburgers for the week, cheaper meal then most think... or it used to be. The packadge of 12 patties was $20!
needles to say I skipped burgers and went straight to ramen, like a good Naruto fan. 
Now you got me ranting, must be contagious.
