I personally think you need some more conflict within the story. Here are some ideas...
-Maybe another antagonist/villain who Luke needs to overcome in some way.
- Maybe have him face some discrimination/racism from some ponies who want him gone.
-Explore more of Luke's background and past, like what happened with his parents to cause a divorce.
-Dive more into Luke's issues regarding his autism. As someone with autism, it would be nice to see the subject talked about more.
