Hey, this is just an open forum to get my thoughts out there. I'm currently working on a much darker explicit version different from "Discord, Don't Die"
I'm currently curious to hear peoples' different opinions and inputs of how they think other ponies, the main six ponies, Spike, and the princesses would react if Discord tried to commit suicide or killed himself after his extreme guilt for betraying them and helping Tirek. Keep in mind, this is AFTER the battle against Tirek, and after the creation of Twilight's Kingdom. I know his mistake did make a better prophecy for Equestria, but I'm curious to hear what anyone thinks about how ponies would react when Discord tries to do self-harm and suicide to himself. Feel free to share.

If Discord actually succeeded into killing himself, Fluttershy would be devastated and would eventually summit suicide herself. Celestia would feel guilty for how she treated him in the past and decided that she is not worthy of being a princess and would step down. Shining Armor would probably say that the traitor got what he deserved. However, Cadance thinks otherwise. The two would keep arguing and arguing until it was time to sign the divorce papers. As for everyone else, I have no idea.

Rainbow Dash would be horrified in my opinion. The rest of Twilight's friends and Spike might also step down from royalty and be depressed about what Discord did too, especially the choice you described Fluttershy taking.

OF DISCORD COMMITED SUICIDE I WOULD DIE! During the entire fanfic I just wanted to hug him! But if he did succeed... Oh god i can't imagine how bad Fluttershy would feel, or Akiko! Or the mane I mean Discord is the sweetest shit ever!
