The Coming Firestorm Update · 8:32pm Jun 15th, 2017
Greetings Gotham, Joker here! Just thought I'd drop in on you all and share what I have in mind for chapter 2 of The Coming Firestorm. Long story short, it'll basically cover Rex and Kilroy getting used to their new partnership and the world they're now trapped in. And of course, Sci-Twi starts poking around in things she doesn't understand. Also, Pinkie Pie throws a party for Firestorm after the Elements of Harmony follow him to Sunset's mansion (I'll explain that in a moment) and essentially demand he explain his whole burning thing.
Now, about Sunset Shimmer... when she first arrived in the Equestria Girls-vere, she was broke, homeless, and starving, quickly realizing that her new human form's taste buds and digestive system were far different than a pony's. Then, one day, she witnesses an accident near the abandoned farm where she was hiding. Dying from her injuries from the accident (if it was an accident, not quite sure yet) was Sunset's human counterpart. As it turns out, Human Sunset was on her way to attend her VERY wealthy parents' funerals and listen to their Last Wills. Human Sunset dies in Sunset Shimmer's arms, and, out of sheer desperation, Sunset pulls a Harrison Wells, stashes her human doppleganger's body away, and takes her place. Sunset later returns and gives her "little sister" a proper burial. Needless to say, after the switch, the friends human Sunset had are driven away, as it was almost like Sunset had become a completely different person.
Fun fact: I was actually toyng with the idea of making that last bit a one-shot. Should I do it?
I think that'd be a good idea, just hope it works out alright because I'll be busy with my own stuff.
