Woah!
This month, my pal Mix-Up decided to make me a new avatar. A really talented artist, he wanted to make a nice work of Techorse wearing a pilot suit. Well, not only did he draw Techorse in one of the most detailed power armors I've ever seen, he went the extra mile and drew an entire mech!
Mix-Up and I have talked about his previous mecha designs before. My favorite has always been Battletech, with the more tank-like war machines. He isn't as fond of that style, but he went to a lot of trouble to make sure just a few elements of it got into this art on top of his own amazing design. I was amazed by how perfect all of those hexagons on the armor turned out!
And here's a closeup of Tech! That's a lot of detail for an MLP character.
Needless to say, he went over the top and worked very hard on this piece, and I'm one happy and flattered writer that a fan did so much without me asking.
