Hey guys! I just wanted to give you a head's up that I have removed a couple of stories from my page here on FimFic. I don't expect them to be missed, as they aren't my more popular stories and were largely experimental, but because I, personally, hate when a niche story I'm looking for just up and vanishes, I thought I'd leave an explanation here for you all 
The stories are:
I wonder how big of an overlap there is between the MLP audience and the Magnus Archives. I don't imagine it's huge, but then, who knows! I'm rarely as original as I think I am haha. That said, the overlap between MLP, Magnus, and my followers probably is much smaller 
I ran across that Tumblr post again, about how witches and cowboys had a lot in common, and I was just too tickled by the idea not to obsess over it for the last two days. I've been going back and forth all day at work on how witchy magic might mix with cowboy culture, and honestly? It's awesome. It got a bit of writing out of me at least!
Hey guys! I've been wanting to do some original fiction for a while now, and had a change to do a short piece in response to a Prompt over on Reddit. I was a bit late to the prompt and it didn't get much traction, so I thought I'd try my luck here even though it's not pony. Story stars some Superhero characters that I'm still kind of developing, and is a bit angsty as per the prompt, but I hope
Has everyone seen this? Because it's great.
Heads up for strong language though.
Obviously I didn't model my version of the sirens after this, but it does fit pretty damn well.

This is fantastically fitting song for the Dazzlings.
Ok, so, brilliant song, and superbly-synched video. The voices, in particular, are a striking match. I assumed for the first several watches that it must have been recorded by MLP fan VAs, but no, that's the original cast, and one just happens to sound a lot like Adagio, and another exactly match Sonata.
So I had this stuck in my head for all yesterday, and did some googling to see if there were any Heathers: The Musical performances in theatre anytime soon near me (they're all sold out). Then late last night I wondered if possibly it might be worth giving the film another shot, which is painfully eighties and difficult to treat with anything but scorn. Sat the whole way through it, and hated it.
Big question, then; do you happen to know if the musical is any good?
4545127 I have no idea, unfortunately. I've been planning to watch the movie but haven't gotten around to it. I've only heard good things about the musical though.
4545139 Ah, fair enough. Personally I wouldn't recommend the movie at all, and I would worry about the musical by association, but the song does imply it's been given much more of a Mean Girls vibe than the original, which can only be a good thing. Would you appreciate a plot spoiler reason as to why also it might not be as good as we're hoping?
