I've added a few sentences in Seven Year Twitch, as there were a couple of issues I noticed I felt needed to be corrected. There were a few omissions addressed, which should tie up a couple of loose ends.
The story was submitted to and rejected by EQD for several reasons (one of them being 'there is a Celestia episode coming up!'...uh, no, it's a Starlight episode, but whatever), but I was told the idea was interesting. They didn't like the gags, didn't like I had living people in the story, and didn't like the noodle incident.
Two of those three things have appeared in the show at one time or another, but whatever. It is what it is and I responded by saying I was sorry the person who read my story didn't like it. It is what it is. I'm not complaining at all, mind you. It just gets a little frustrating writing a good story and having said story rejected. I respect the decision and I think I'll move on to other stories that require my attention.
Such is life!
I've got other stories to work on.
If you want to try and find the changes to the story (they're minor), go ahead and give it another read if you feel inclined. Let me know if you notice them!
And yet another reason to not bother much with EQD.
A story should stand on it's own merits, even if it ventures outside canon.
