Dear Princess Celestia,
I want and always will continue to thank the awesome ponies who have stuck by and continued to read my story thus far. So far 382 people have read it, 60 ponies have it in their bookshelves, 22 are tracking it and 15 gave me a hoofs up! It has been really rewarding, so where I can I always try to do something nice.
Anyway, the ... ah ... reason I am writing to you is because ... well I feel very ashamed of myself.
The other night when I was putting my kids to sleep, and decided to read them chapter 6 of the story. As I was reading it out loud, I saw an awful lot of painful glaring grammar and spelling mistakes that made me cringe in horror. I had to stop reading and immediately rushed back to my computer to make some corrections. See, the problem arose because I rushed the story instead of taking the time to probably review my work. So my readers ending up paying the price.
I feel terrible, Princess. But as you are my witness, I won't let this stop me.
To remedy this situation, I've become more proactive in searching for an editor. I posted a request on two group forums hoping to hear from them. I also sent private letters to a couple of very nice ponies, one of which has agreed to give me some feedback. She doesn't have to but I really do appreciate it.
Henceforth, I won't be publishing anymore chapters until I have an editor on board. Notwithstanding, I will continue to write them but they won't be released until then. If I can't find one by next weekend then I'll suck it up and publish them anyway, whilst still searching for one.
I definitely want and will need one for my next big project, but I won't start searching until I am closer to finishing this story and fleshed out more ideas on the other.
On that note, I've changed the title of the story, so that it wasn't so long. It's a lot shorter now and pays tribute to the band queen. Hopefully it makes it more appealing and encourages to read it.
Thanks for listening Princess. I better get back to work,
Your faithful servant
Jet Storm
I should write letters to Twilight... me having Starlight as my waifu I mean. I can do that, right? I can pretend to be my waifu and send letters to Twilight, can't I?
4502682 Of course, you can. Don't know why you don't just tell Twilight who you are but. After all she IS the Princess of Friendship. I'm sure she loved to get a letter from you.
