Update on personnel(myself) and equipment. · 9:06pm Apr 17th, 2017
As of now I'm going to be ripping my cooling system out of my PC for some much-needed maintenance. It's running hot again even with an enclosed water-cooled system so I'm going to give that cooling system a good cleaning and change out the thermal paste. Hopefully it will work properly after that.
As for me, I've got a bit of a headcold to go along with my new job but I'm still plugging away. Twisted is easy to write for but I think I know where I want Substitute to go now so I've started writing that one as well.
Hopefully it won't take more than an hour or so to clean everything up. I can always write faster on my PC than on my phone. Hell, I can type in the dark. My high school typing class, the only elective I'm thankful for taking.
Last time I changed my thermal paste it turned out there was a carpet of dust between my fans and radiator :v
And that is why I don't use water cooling. Easier maintenance. Also, lack of money. Or computer performance to warrant it.
Anyhow, dusting out the radiators will probably do the trick, but it's kinda fun tinkering with stuff, so tear that baby apart!
