Next chapter news · 2:54am Oct 2nd, 2012
So the next chapter is nearing completion. It was very late for a combination of reasons, but the biggest is that its been very difficult to write. It is very, VERY, very different from the previous chapters. I am a little apprehensive of it actually, as it has grown a little disturbing. It is not grimdark, no gore... but dark, and sad, so expect that in a couple of days if I don't lose it while finishing it. 
If you've read my other work, 'Harmony' you might see where its going, if not, prepare for a surprise. It is the penultimate chapter. There is one more after it to complete part 1, then I will take a little break, (if I can pull myself away from writing it) before going into part 2 which will mostly be following canon, but some new stories will show up.
This story is an origin story for Cadance as well as her first love story so you will start to see that coming now. Hopefully I'll finish it before the new season in November when she shows up as some sort of crystal empress?.. kinda happy for the longer time to write it actually 
Anyway, apologies for the delay. I'm just finishing the last scene now, so if I can work on it between work and at night I should get it done in a few days. Before our Thanksgiving (this weekend) hopefully.
This kinda fits the mood right now... I like this story but its not my head canon. Her mom shows up in this chapter actually!
