Hey everyone. So its been forever, I know. I was just looking over some documents on my google drive and came across the unfinished IFL sequel, and then all the notes. I know I kinda just left it for 2 years, but would anyone be interested if I continued? I feel like writing it again. I really want to finish it. I really want to show you what I wrote in my notes.
So I got stuck writing the last chapter due to wanting to show more scenes of Shiny and Cadance on a normal date but with the complications presented by her being a now well known member of royalty being followed around by Ponyrazzi. Let's see which pieces of research have inspired me the most the past few weeks....

Hello all you wonderful readers. I am sorry I abandoned you. I just seemed to lose interest in writing anymore, and although the sequel to IFL was technically finished in my head... I was trying to add a more light-hearted chapter with a date scene and scenes with Twilight and Sweetheart again and got lost along the way.

Before I read the newest chapter I'm going to do a reread so I can refresh my memory.
I'm curious, depending on the feedback people give, will you not continue the story?
From one author to another, in terms of dislike, I felt like you kind of just shoved in the Kirin at the beginning of the chapter purely for the sake of either having Kirin, or establishing something to make it so you don't have the 'canon' kirin appearing. I would recommend not trying to shove in things to follow the show if it disrupts the actual story - especially given the story was made Alt. Universe anyway by the existence of 'Neigh, Anything' in the comics which explains how Cady and Shiny got together.
Just work with what you feel is natural for the story and don't worry so much about canon.
Otherwise, the chapter felt like you picked up right where you left off. I hope to see more.

hey glad to see you back too! No, I'll definitely continue the story but so far I just heard a bunch of nice welcome back posts but hadn't heard what anyone thought of the story itself. If they didn't read it or didn't feel it continued well I didn't want to post the next chapter to no one. But it seems people have enjoyed it, so I'm hoping to post tomorrow night.

Oh I completely understand, and normally wouldn't have much to say in my defense but the Kirin are in this chapter because well... they were in the previous chapter. Its been such a long time I'm sure you didn't remember but most of the previous chapter was about meeting other species who are now actually in the show (I hear an Abada or unicorn zebra will be in the comics too) And the Kirin particularly make an impression on little Cadance.
