So, I've hit the featured box again! Kind of. Sort of.
See, I got shanghaied into the current Sunset Sliders thingamajig-- basically a writing contest/exercise in which a bunch of authors passed the story along 1500 words at a time. I wrote chapter 3, which ... honestly isn't very SunLight-y, but I still managed to work in some fun little gags, given what I had to work with.
And, in other news, I heartily recommend everyone go check out my latest BRILLIANT MASTERPIECE, Displaced in the Butt: A Human In Equestria Story. Because honestly, Chuck Tingle and Friendship is Magic have many similar themes (though the cartoon has a distinct lack of unicorn butt cops).
The fact that I wrote and posted that story on April 1st is entirely coincidental, I assure you.
So yeah. Currently in another of my 'augh now what?' ruts, as I've been slacking over the last week or so, not producing any writing of any consequence. Not that my various silly fanfics and half-developed original fiction ideas are very consequential to begin with, but ... well, you get the idea.
Still, might give some other stuff a go in a bit. Maybe I'll even tinker with some non-fiction? Who knows!
If you need someone to bounce ideas off of, I'd be interested in that. I haven't had much experience when it comes to writing but I have a good mind for story ideas as well as how flow. At least when it comes to everything except my own writing. but what are you gonna do?
