Officially started writing chapter sixteen of Looking Glass 
So then, here's what's what. I finished writing chapter three of Heart of the Forest. Just need to finish final edits and then I'll post it ASAP 
With chapter three done, HotF will be put on hold (as was always the intention), and my main focus will go back to Looking Glass. I'll hold off a little bit on posting that anything for that one, though. Releasing content on a regular schedule is important to me, as I feel that it increases enjoyment. Readers are less likely to forget details when y'all are reading every week, and interest in general remains more consistent. Basically, I want to release content more like Friendship is Magic as opposed to Steven Universe, where my hype for the series kinda dies out every time it's on one of its many breaks of irregular length.
So while I'm gonna feel kinda like a dick for having complete stuff and not uploading it, that's exactly what I'll be doing 
But as a pro, I'll never miss an update when I'm in the middle of an act. Breaks in between acts may be a thing, but I'll always bring the story (and other multi-act stories I write) to convenient stopping points if that becomes necessary.
Perhaps this is a bit too early to be celebrating about, but a good sign for Looking Glass making a return soon is that my writing speed has been significantly faster than it has been since November, when I started showing down. Between Looking Glass, Heart of the Forest, and a flashfic I wrote I've managed about six thousand words in the past week

Alright, this is the best news I've had since learning Firecaller recently sent off her latest chapter of DF to her editor. Making the fact that I've been sick that much less miserable.
Good thing writing makes you happy again.
Whenever and however you want to update, it is fine, but I can't wait for more Looking Glass.
