Universal Magic Update 1... · 3:48am Mar 20th, 2017
Update 1:
I just wanted to remind anyone that still cares that I’m still working on Episode 23-2. I know I’ve said it many of times by now, but considering I haven’t posted anything new in Universal Magic since Christmas season of 2015….I thought I should at least give an update to anyone still interested…
So far I have made progress; it’s just been slow for me. I go through depression and have other problems and responsibilities to attend to and most times it just doesn’t work out. And at other times I just lie down in my bed and wonder why I’m not dead yet and just think about if I could just lay down in my bed and wait until I’m dead or something like that. But hey…that’s life for you.
When I do release Episode 23-2, I estimate it to be over 100,000 words once more. Then as for Episode 23-3, I estimate that one to be 50,000 -100,000 words. For Episode 23-4, somewhere between 50,000-100,000 words. Then for the final part (hopefully) Episode 23-5, I estimate 100,000-150,000 words…at least for what I have planned. Originally Episode 23 was only supposed to take 100,000-200,000 words long, but as I’ve said nothing is set in stone so plans have changed since then…that’s why there’s several parts for Episode 23.
As for the rest of Season 1, Episode 24 will be between 75,000-100,000 words. Then for Episode 25, 20,000-40,000 words. Then for Season 1 finale, 50,000-100,000 words…at least with what I have planned currently. For all I know it could become shorter or longer, but for right now that’s the plan for the rest of season 1. And after I’ve finished off the season, of course I’ll be going through the old episodes and re-editing them/adding stuff to them, consider it a redux or whatever you want to call it, I don’t care. Then I’ll start on the final rewrite (hopefully) of Episode 5 for TK alongside starting the production of Season 2.
And with that said, the total of words for Universal Magic could hit over one million within the first season…but…who knows…I’ll have to wait and see how it all plays out. But even if it did hit one million words, it doesn’t make the story special. Sure it’s a lot of words, but really...I couldn’t care less about it. Now if I hit say 5 million or 10 million…maybe…it would catch my attention, but meh….
Aside from that…thought at least I give some sort of update to the progress of the story.
Aside from that, I’ll see you next time I guess…
