    I finished Some Hugs Last Longer Than Others

    A long time ago, years ago actually, I said I'd finish my last fic. I did try a few times, a couple different finished versions have existed. But they were all terrible. A few months ago I would have replied with some kind of halfhearted, "Yeah, I bet it is." Now that I'm actually writing fanfics...ugh.

I love it. There is no better feeling that putting your brain into words, putting those ideas out there for people to read, and some of them coming back asking for more. So yeah, it's hard. Really, really hard. But when you put the work in, and somepony out there enjoys it, it more than makes up for it.

I agree. Writing is the most difficult, most tedious, most annoying work I've ever done.

It's also the most enjoyable and unbelievably satisfying, I can think of very few things I'd rather be doing.
