More on the 'Balladeer' Sequel · 2:07am Mar 13th, 2017
First of all, I'm really very, very sorry this is all taking so long. I can only say that my editor has been very ill; he had bronchitis, and as soon as he started getting over it his roomie got pneumonia. And I've been dealing with the aftereffects of a car accident from a few weeks back; broke three of my teeth and I had to find out if the insurance would cover it. The dentist wants to remove them and put in three implants; and I have a severe phobia of dentists.
Well, it's all done with the insurance, and apparently everything will be covered. And a friend offered to help me get to and from the dentist for the work, given that I'll apparently have to be doped up pretty good for this. That's provided the weather cooperates and I can force myself t stop being afraid long enough to go and set up the appointment...
Nobody really cares about this, do they?
Anyway, things have been busy on my end. You've been very decent people about this and you are owed an explanation. I do have the story done in rough draft. And the first third or so is edited, so I'll try once more to see if I can get my editor to agree to my posting them here while we work on the last two-thirds of the story.
Thanks everyone for your patience.
Have an internet hug.
I'm scared of dentists too so I know how you feel. I hope you're not hurting too much.
I'm very glad to see that you're still doing the Balladeer sequel. The original story of one of the best things published on this whole site. It's one of the stories which got me into doing these fanfics.
4453660 Thanks.
And if you're living in the Northeast of the USA, watch out for the weather heading our way.
4453727 It's very good to hear from you! I was wondering if something had happened to you.
Not hurting very much, but this needs to be done and I'm procrastinating. Main problems is I need someone to help me get back home from these appointments in one piece afterwards. And given the near-blizzard we're supposed to be hit with, and Winter just feels like it's lasting forever. I just so need to get over all of this.
And thanks for the kind words. The Balladeer sequel is technically done, most of it just needs editing.
I have to be honest and say that I've only noticed your announcements of a sequel just a little while ago and it's my fault really. I completely skip blog posts most of the time so I end up not knowing of things like this. There is also the fact that I've been engrossed with reading light novels as of late so I tend to visit FIMfiction less these past few months.
Still I am glad that with all the struggles you and those around you are facing you're still going at it! I look forward to your future work and I wish you the best!
4458152 Thanks, and no apologies are required. I hope you enjoy the story when it's posted.
