Chapter Progress (Revelations Part II)

Welcome back, everypony. It's been a good while since my last blog post, but I'm glad that I could make at least one for this month. There might a new one coming out in about a week or two, but that'll depend if I have anything new aside from what I will be discussing in this post. On that note, let us begin.

As you know, I have a great deal of news about the chapter I want to disclose to you guys. I should warn you, though: there's at least one spoiler in this post. While I CERTAINLY won't disclose too much of the chapter, I nevertheless advise that those of you who don't want any more suspense leave at the end of this very paragraph. For contrary to their nature, these spoilers are like sprinkles of sugar: they will keep you coming back for more.

Now, then... for those of you who are still here, you were warned. So without further ado, let's get to the news. I am proud to say, everypony, that the next chapter is almost complete. New experiences await our pegasus friend in Part II of "Revelations" (as well as new faces). If you recall from Part I, Bladewing found himself caught in between two mares who have only one thing in common: each wants Bladewing to be hers and hers alone. While it's obvious to us who claimed him first, it sure doesn't seem that way to Skywalker. Here she thought with him being new to the country that Bladewing would not have a mare to mingle with yet; and while she's not certain that Rose is his marefriend, who's to say she won't feel even a tiny bit jealous? You'd be surprised by how she reacts in the next chapter. I guarantee it.

Also on the "SPOILER ALERT" list (kind of) is a massive confession from Rose. Just before Skywalker had her bit of playtime with him, Bladewing was thinking about how he should ask Rose about her time as "Miss Virginia". It's true that Rose's pending confession might be considered a key event, but it's precisely because it was foreshadowed in Bladewing's mind that I say it's "kind of" a spoiler. In all honesty, you guys could've seen a situation like this coming. You didn't think Bladewing would keep Rose's past unknown to him, did you? Oh, no... he knows WAY too little about her to leave questions about her former stardom unanswered. What will Rose tell him once he brings it up? Well, THAT part I'll keep to myself. Just know that Rose has a lot of explaining to do. I named this two-part chapter "Revelations" for a reason.

Lastly, I want to disclose information not on the chapter but rather, about the story itself. We're fast approaching a turning point in the story, fillies and gentlecolts. You lot heard what Mountain Wind told him: in a few weeks, Bladewing will be knighted into his Council. When he does, his life on this planet will truly begin to unfold... and when his life's journey takes a new form, so will his story. As I mentioned in previous blog posts, I have great plans for the future of this story. They won't necessarily change its timeline - I have every intention of keeping the story as close to the original as possible - but they WILL change both its structure and in part what kind of a story it really is. Stay tuned to upcoming blog posts and chapters for further details. I'm sure you'll like what I have in mind.
