SuperPinkBrony12

I'm a brony and a Pinkie Pie fan but I like all of the mane six, as well as Spike. I hope to provide some entertaining and interesting fanfics for the Brony community.

    Episode Re-Review: Horse Play

Season 8 finally had an episode that made use of its changes to the status quo with "Surf and/or Turf", which many said was FiM tackling the trickly subject of divorce (though I personally don't see it). However, the episode also felt at times like it was more of a belated commercial for the 2017 movie rather than an actual episode, and the School of Friendship itself was only sort of relevant to

    Episode Re-Review: Grannies Gone Wild

Well, Tell Your Tale finally decided to try to do something interesting, because the last episode showed Sunny's mom in a flashback. But they didn't even give her a name, let alone elaborate on what happened to her. And given the way Tell Your Tale progresses, I'm not expecting any follow-up anytime soon. Getting back to G4, Season 8 hit its first stumbling block only four episodes in, and the

Episode Re-Review: Fake It 'Til You Make It

Oh joy, it's back to Season 8. Season 9 has its fair share of detractors, but hardly anyone I know ever sings Season 8's praises, and for good reason. We now know that the School of Friendship was added at Hasbro's request because they wanted the show to wrap up with nine seasons, forcing the writers to change their plans for the pillars. About the only good thing to come out of Season 8 seems to

Special Re-Review: Equestria Girls: Forgotten Friendship

While we now know that this has to take place not just before Season 8 but before the events of the 2017 FiM movie, it first premiered in February of 2018, about a month before Season 8 of FiM hit the airwaves. Interestingly, the Discovery Family broadcast omitted several scenes that were later released as part of an "extended" version. As for the writer, it was none other than Nick Confalone,

    Episode Re-Review: Uncommon Bond

After the absolute disaster that was "Secrets and Pies", Season 7 really needed something to redeem it and give it the chance to go out on a high note, especially now that the big 2017 movie had come and gone, and the show's future was still uncertain. Josh Haber, after having returned to the story editor's chair and ultimately taking back the reigns fully from Joanna Lewis and Kristine Songco

Ranking The Episodes of FiM From Worst to Best, Version 5 · 6:48pm Mar 11th, 2017

Now that Season 7's airdate has more than likely been announced (unless they're planning to go straight through the summer, I really can't imagine they'd wait longer than mid April to air it. They'll want to have Season 7 done before the movie so that there's nothing to divert attention from it), it's time to update the episode list a little since some of my opinions have changed a bit. But of course, with 143 episodes to get through, trying to explain why each one ends up where it does would take way too long. So if you're curious, just comment. Here's the previous version, in case you want to see more in depth what has changed. And remember, this list is the result of my opinion, and my opinion alone, so it's not official by any means.

Not surprised that "Crusaders of the Lost Mark" is on this list. I consider it to be my all-time favorite episode. My favorite episode of season five and my favorite episode of the whole series! :pinkiehappy:

Out of curiosity, what made you rank Stare Master lower than The Show Stoppers?

4452012 Some of these episodes changed due to personal taste, but episodes like Stare Master have become increasingly harder to watch in the wake of some real world events. At least in The Show Stoppers, the CMC's stupidity never hurts anyone but themselves and at least it kind of makes sense. Children don't always like being told what to do, but school aged kids usually think "if a grown-up says not to go into some place, they must have a good reason for it." so it's really hard to wonder why they'd choose to go into the Everfree Forest, knowing it's dangerous and that undeniably every grown-up they know would probably tell them it was dangerous too.

To each their own. Is there a chance of you doing a 'What If?' based on 'Castle Mane-ia'?

4453760 No, though I did sort of rewrite in my Stallion Six fic.
