Review for Spiders and Magic Part IV by ChangelingNumber32 · 3:41pm Mar 10th, 2017

Once again, I'd love to thank ChangelingNumber32 for another great and insightful review. In hindsight, I guess I find myself hating Part IV more by the day. I firmly agree with everything ChangelingNumber32 said and then some. It's not my proudest moment.

I'd never thought I'd be so happy with a critical evisceration. For all the good, there was plenty of bad. More so... just a LOT of missed opportunities.

In any case, I love ChangelingNumber32 as a reviewer. He's constantly telling me how to up my game, and it's helped. Give the man a follow on fimfiction and youtube. SUPPORT HIM, PLEASE. :raritystarry:

Very insightful and I'd have to say that was my overall opinion of the story. The Celestia subplot really should have had more attention on it since it ended up playing such a vital role in the finale.

I agreed with a lot of the points made. Peter getting stabbed by his daughter, the celestia subplot being under developed (it may have worked better if celestia and luna switched places for the 2nd arc so she could have had time), and responsibility being taken from peter for sleeping with sweetie bell in the future. The last one bugged me the most.

That being said, I still enjoyed the crap out of it when it 1st released and you've clearly improved over the years. You're certainly taking constructive criticism very well.

On a side note. Yes, I also would LOVE to see an eventually side story where peter and a few others watch some of the other spider-man films. Just have Eris poof a screen projector or something.

Most of the points boiled down to expansion and exploration vs Primary plot progression.

As I mentioned in details in 32's, these points were where a lot of Maximus' and I had our disagreements. With my wanting to expand, and he wanting to move on.

Overall. We both made our mistakes and had things that could have been expanded on. I think we will both grow as writers from this.

Yeah, I'm glad you listened tosomeone about the Mayday thing
