My Thoughts On Zentrix and Zevo-3 · 3:55pm Mar 6th, 2017
Does anyone besides me remember this really cool show from China called Zentrix? It played on a few stations across Europe if memory serves (it got a lot of exposure in Germany in particular). It aired in The United States for a short time as well but I don't think it was ever as big as it was in Europe.
Well if anyone wants to watch it, the studio has released most of its episodes online which you can watch here.
It was actually a really great show. The English dubbing is a bit off because again it was animated in China, so its original language track was Chinese. But other than that I think that it was pretty entertaining. But what are your thoughts?
On a similar note, there was another show that aired on Nickelodeon (I believe) for a short time called Zevo-3. It aired around 2010 if memory serves. I remember thinking that is was a lot like Static Shock but had a different setup (of course) in terms of the powers and objectives. The funny thing is that it seems to have a small cult following but it usually gets low ratings on review sites like IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes. But I went back and watched some episodes recently. And yes, it was a little cheesy. But I don't think it was as bad as a lot of the critics are making it out to be.
If anyone remembers this show, I would be curious to hear your thoughts on it as well.

4445353 They were both pretty interesting shows, especially Zentrix which had more of a solid plot, interesting characters, and well thought out villains than other shows with a similar premise that aired at the time. It's too bad that they never seemed to get more recognition in The United States.
