On the Study and Application of Advanced Carnal Magic

Strange how the similar section on fimfiction and the stories within already know what I am publishing, given their recommendations.

I will have a new story up tomorrow! One of three planned for the immediate future. I'll likely have to post it while I am at work, as I am mentally enslaved to post stories at a very specific time in the day. I've titled this blog post--

    They Always Come Back...

    This is... a little awkward.

For the sake of being concise, I am going to try and keep this blog short short, which is not something I am very good at doing. I don’t talk at all in real life, and on the internet I talk far too much.

I have no idea what I’m doing right now.

The cavalcade of thoughts I’ve gone through in the last hour were as varied as the types of sand. Pipe wrenches, garbage, books, family, screaming, job searching, Dunbar’s number, grilling, cats, soul-crushing apathy and anxiety, debts, arguments, swearing. A lot of things in a short amount of time.

Stories you can steal #2 · 4:24am Mar 5th, 2017

The curse of too many ideas: you won’t be able to make all of them. Some you just lose interest. Some will just take too long.

So here’s another list of things I’m opening to the public. Want to make a story out of one? Go ahead!

R'lyeh

There have always been legends about seaponies across Equestria. Little fillies are told tales about their friendly nature that rivaled Equestria’s. So where did they go? They may find out soon enough: they just discovered one of their underwater cities.

They will pay for their curiosity.

Sea ponies are a somewhat divisive thing in the fandom. They get more hate than love, while some people just accept that what we have no was built on what once was. I have a different notion: what if sea ponies were actually Lovecraftian Deep Ones?

There are a lot of contextual similarities between Equestria and Lovecraftian influences. They value knowledge and learning, and there are secret horrors buried since time immemorial. There is so much potential for horror in the MLP universe, and so many ways that magic and the forgotten terrors of history can be twisted into something awful. R'lyeh is the city where the sleeping one lies, and an underwater city? It’s like peanut butter and chocolate.

What if this long-standing piece of pony history was a piece of cosmic horror?

Would you do you?

Flash is contemplating something of utmost importance: if you had a clone of yourself that was exactly like you in every way, would you screw him?

This is more of a one off kind of thing, one not necessarily a clop story. I see it as a somewhat sexually suggestive philosophical story. Sort of. Still, it’s been a question since time immemorial. If you had an exact copy of yourself that knew your every dislike and interest, every little thing to get you worked up and what to do when, would you screw him?

It really is a philosophical question the must be answered, especially considering a portal to your second self is right outside your school.

The Darkness

I wonder how much was left to burn? There were houses still empty in the darkness, but going out requires light. Navigating requires light. There might be some oil left to burn, but the remains of empty houses would work in a pinch.

Ponies that died, ponies that survived, and ponies that just walked into the everlasting black and never returned. Ponyville seems to empty now. Maybe that’s just the Darkness. I’m one of the lucky ones. I have a basement with steel doors, although steel doesn’t help too much when the things out there want to get in. There are things wandering the Darkness.

If anyone on the outside can hear this broadcast, we have no way out. We can’t escape the Darkness. There is only one exit, Twilight’s Castle, but Twilight is also the reason why no pony in their right mind would do that. Let me hold up my mic. You hear that? Some poor bastard just woke up what’s left of Twilight.

This one wasn’t inspired by anything in particular, it just sprouted from the miasma that is my brain. Ponies are a resourceful lot, and I’ve seen them survive so many things. I like stories were people are pitted against terrible circumstances, where there is no real win condition. I don’t mean that in I want to see the heroes broken, I mean that I like seeing them in an impossible situation and still do their best to survive. The point of such stories is not to return things as they were, but to make the best of a bad situation, to fight to break even.

Imperator Gloriosa

I did not understand what I was tampering with. I am not apologizing for my actions. If I haven’t paid for them already, I most certainly will later. These powers of the earth have gone out of control, and now all that is left is a barren, desolate waste. Gaea’s anger knows no bounds. I don’t fault the spirit for punishing mankind, even if blame rests upon my shoulders alone.

The earth has turned sour, people fight and die for water, and it’s just a constant fight to survive. I spend my days behind the wheel in this endless, desert expanse, doing my best to pay for my sins across the endless sands and desolation. Maybe one day I can make it up to Gaea.

Gloriosa? Furiosa? How can I be the first one to see this comparison? Admittedly, that’s all I got for this particular idea, but the idea of seeing MLP characters behind the wheel of their own cars just feels sl metal and awesome to me. There’s a distinct thrill about seeing characters in high stress situations, especially when life and limb are on the line. If someone can take this one anywhere, or hell, make some artwork based on it, all the better.

would you screw him?

It's been done. And with a much better character than flush, at that.

Edit: Oh wait, now. It was with a genderbent Twilight Sparkle. Not exactly the same.
