Also, as of literally the start of the new year, I quit my job at the movie theater on a count of being promoted to full-time at my job in Chicago, so I've literally only seen 5 new movies from this year so far, and probably will have less energy to do any reviews of the ones I do see. However, after the recent announcements of the MLP theatrical movie coming out later this year (can hardly believe it's actually happening this year), I've been catching up on the last season and a quarter (only watched season 5 up to the big CMC episode with the exception of the S5 finale and haven't seen any of S6 with the exception of the premiere just a few days ago), and it's been getting my creative juices pumping again.
Does this mean I'll go back to the stories I've all but abandoned for so long? Maybe, but I can and will tell you this: I (miraculously) managed to buy myself a New Nintendo 3DS (as in the one you literally can't buy anywhere) and have been having oodles of fun with the 3DS Pokémon games that have come out for that, and for the past month or so, I've been mapping out and outlining a new story inspired by those games I've played. Already have a cover designed* too.
I plan on outlining the story in sections and then writing out chapters based on the outline, and then repeat the process (think of these sections as "seasons" where a small hiatus will come after one section so I can outline and then write the next). I feel that this will help set my story in a firm direction so that I won't let the plot run away from me to the point that I write myself into a corner and I force myself to give up on the story. For the most part, everything is already mapped out, but it's now just a matter of putting that map into a clear narrative which will then become a story, but as of now, the first section is nearing completion, and I'll hopefully have something this month.
Perhaps I'm overthinking it; it's been a while since I've done anything here, and I'm looking forward to doing things again.
* = Took transparent PNGs and solid images from DeviantArt that I masked in After Effects and put them in a composition that I then screencapped in Premiere Pro.

So there is a chance for the Honour of the princess to be updated? (even though the snk manga is so far ahead in its story now)
