Hey everyone,
Yep, it's been eight crazy years since I came here thinking I'd simply be getting my crappy Yu-Gi-Oh!/Pokémon crossover out to another audience only to find a community that would mold me into the writer I am today. As I've done in years past, I've made some new content in the form of a cute one-shot I had to get out there (story tagged below).
On top of that, the world's kind of going to hell, so that's been something. Fortunately, I've been doing super in spite of everything, and while I hoped that would give me more time to create and update on here, I've also been trying and failing to juggle that along with trying to overcome my withdrawals over going to a movie theater that I've been deprived of for nearly a quarter of the year. This has taken the form of catching up on a lot of films and shows I've been able to see on Netflix, HBO, and the like now that I have nowhere else to go but from one room of my house to another.
One thing I've been really trying to get back into is that sequel to Pokémon Eclipse that I teased upon its completion, which I hoped to really get into making once I bought a Switch and Pokémon Sword. Unfortunately, life got in the way of that and so I've been trying to study the Galar region and the story and lore within SwSh without actually playing it/dropping hours of my life on Let's Plays. I've gotten to a much better point on it than I ever thought I would, and am currently in the process of polishing a very important element I'd like to have nailed down before I start putting pen to paper, per se.
However, rewriting the story has made me do a little rebranding on my end, so now, I have a new cover and a new title to share:
Don't know when I'll begin publishing chapters of that, but I'm far closer to getting chapters written for this than I was originally, so that's great.
Lastly, I'd like to discuss two other stories that have been hanging over my head and have been asked about, the first of which is Letters from a Friend. It obviously took nearly took 11 months between the last published chapter and the ones before that, and while I don't want the fans of that to wait as long as that again, I want to state that this is a story I only see myself updating when I feel like I have enough of a breather in my life to do a chapter or two, so when that will be will be entirely up to me.
Next is Attack on Titan: For the Honor of the Princess. Someone asked my on my page if I ever planned on going back on that story, and I told him that I hoped to regain my interest in Attack on Titan by binging the entire English dub of the anime, but there are so many films and shows I still haven't gotten to watch that I don't know when I'll AoT will be that far up on my queue, so if I do get into that, I hope it'll inspire me to get back into this story, but until then, it shall remain in purgatory.
