Hey, everyone, DW here. I know I normally don't do a lot of blogs or anything here, but I feel I owe you all an explanation in regards to my story, Soul of a Dragon, and why it's been taking so long for new chapters. The truth people is that things have gotten bad where I am working; REALLY bad. My boss got into an accident sometime last year, people have either walked off the job or quit due to school or other issues, and as a result, we're stretched thin. I've been one of the people that they have heavily relied on, and have been forced to work almost every single day. Whenever I get home, I really don't feel up to writing because I'm tired from the day at work. I'll slowly work on it, but at the end I just want to really kick back and relax by playing games or something. The good news is that my boss is coming back in two weeks, so I'm hoping by then things will finally start to get back to normal and I can get some more breathing room.
Part of the problem as well is because I'm thinking about where this next chapter should lead up to. I'm not going to lie to you all; this next chapter is pretty damn big and a lot is about to go down. I'm debating certain things or where to go. But it's just a matter of what to do and where this leads to. So whenever I do have time for writing, I'm often thinking about where to go next with the story and how it would play out.
I apologize to everyone who is waiting for new chapters, but everything has just been really messed up at my workplace, and it's been no fun at all for me. I'm really hoping soon that there is a light at this tunnel because a lot of us at my work are really sick of it at this point. I can promise you all one thing; the new chapter is getting close to being completed. I'm a little close to 3/4 of the way done with the chapter. I hope this satisfies you all, and I hope to get something out very soon.
