I have no clue. If I have a secret, I don't know it. As I've said before, I only expected this to get a few likes. But here it is 3 months later from when I posted the first chapter. Sitting with 100.
I think part of it is that this peeks people's interests. A another thing is that for every chapter I post, the story is in the recently updated thing on the front page, where a lot of people see it. The more chapters you post, the more likely that people will see it.
I've noticed that your stories are mostly only one chapter long. So they only have one chance to get noticed.
Maybe post a story that has multiple chapters? Make the story topic unique? I have no clue, these are ideas.
Of course I've seen a few stories that have a lot of chapters that don't have many likes, so there is some luck in there too.
