The Cosmic King and his personalities [SPOILER ALERT FOR LATEST CHAPTERS] · 9:23pm Feb 6th, 2017
So if you've been following the story this far (which is really hard. Sorry about that), you'd know that Cosmic King Connor was mentally broken in such a way that his alternate personalities came out and Connor kept switching between each other. Well, now that they've come out, they aren't going back. So expect some more shenanigans with them in the future.
But anyways, I'm curious what personalities of Connor some of the readers want to see? A love Connor? A greedy Connor? A happy Connor?
For your information, these are the current personalities that have revealed themselves;
Insanity - Connor's mental instability made flesh. Relies almost entirely on regeneration factor.
Anger - Connor's rage. Pure power, weak defense.
Strategy - Connor's intellect. Uses a small collection of the various powers in weaker doses. Uses all of Connor's sight powers.
Also, expect these ones;
Sadness - Connor's depression and sadness. No will to fight.
Cosmic King - Connor's sense of duty. Basically The Cosmic Form with a personality suiting the ruler and protector of the multiverse.
Shadow - Connor's dark thoughts and impulses. (Has actually shown up before, twice. See if you can find where he's shown.)
So I'm curious. What personality of Connor do you as the readers hope to see? I only have ideas for these basic ones. And remember, each personality is exactly that, a personality. They all react differently to different situations and people. Insanity might get on one's nerves, while Anger attacks them and Strategy just stands there, waiting for the next move, and so on and so forth.
Edit: Also, I don't care how old this blog is, if you want to post ideas for personalities from a week after it posted this, to a year or two from now. I'm always open to new suggestions.
Fear? : A more speed (for running) /defence ®en (a shell if he cant run) type persona
Hope? : another def but with outside healing and high strength

4414303 I don't really care how old this post is if someone wants to give some ideas. And yeah, those two are definite possibilities for personalities. His fear did show up during that time Discord inverted his 'element,' and would make total sense for him to be afraid after what he's been through in life. Fear of failing everything he accomplished. Fear of never seeing his family again.
And hope would make sense, maybe combined with his determination, to become a being that would never give up and inspire others to do the same.

4414308 At home now. look here for an Idea on more Personality kinds: Emotional Spectrum. ,Colors and Symbols , Symbols,colors and Oaths And Finally The Beasts of the Cores . The last one is for Enemies coming out of him for the split
4415022 Well, there's only so many personalities you can pull from the lanterns. Life and Death are pretty hard to express as personalities. Rage is expressed through Anger. Greed could be used. Fear is definitely a possibility. Will and Hope would work well with Connor's determination. Compassion and Love would probably be the same personality. And that's basically it for the lanterns. I was wondering if people could come up with other ideas that would be interesting. Insanity and Strategy seem to be the most unique ones I have yet.

Craft: (No color yet) More of a mind one that can build anything from nothing. (sticks and stones? Slingshot and ammo [no spawnning anything in])
Warmonger: Along the lines of Anger but more Weapon based that CQC

4415948 I definitely thought the animals looked interesting. But I'm not quite sure about them being in the story. Connor's personalities aren't really enemies, as they are a chance for Connor to finally show some emotions that he bottles up. And for pets, I'm not sure about a pet for Connor yet.
The crafting and warmonger ideas could be interesting. Connor is a god of crafting, so it would make sense for him to have a personality that contains his 'innovativeness'. And a warmonger Connor could be his personality for 'killings hundreds to save thousands' aspects.
Maybe he could have a child-like personality that contains his desires to be a great hero and to save everyone...

4416135 holy crap. That would be really clever. What better pet for two gods who's entire deal is space and the like, than a living constellation? I'll have to think more in depth of this.
Also, Innocence sounds like a much better name for a personality than Childhood. 'Well, there goes my Innocence.' and Sin would be taken care of through other personalities, mostly Shadow, who is Connor's darker impulses. (still gotta figure out how a Shadow and Nightmare Moon thing might go). A lustful or overly prideful Connor would be pretty interesting though.
4416149 Sin could be another name for Shadow. (My thoughts when I typed it) Then Bright and Innocence for the opposite end of the coin. And I was thinking Conner could half make himself*/ save a Constellation that would end up staying as a pet. Then for Murphy (F ng spelling...) A blood star (it glows red like a red dwarf star) Animal constellation for him after he Makes himself*/fights it and likes how strong it is. good y or n?

4418562 Well, other then what other personalities of Connor you might want to see... I guess I'll try out some suggestions I think of...
Trauma - Connor's trauma who is essentially an unmoving, unacting shell with an incredible defense.
Cyber - A personality of Connor's love of robotics, desiring to only become 100 percent robot. (This one might be evil, I'm not sure yet...)
CopyCat - A personality using Connor's entire reference power, only copying other's abilities and appearances (kinda like a changeling, but able to completely copy with ease a creature's most powerful abilities. Like he could transform into Celestia and move the sun, or turn into Murphy and summon Murphy's signature gun.)
As for other ideas, what would you say about the idea of Connor visiting a different version of Equestria? Maybe even meeting a different version of himself?

As for other universes of eques I think just ask other people in the Displaced or Other writers like BlackWing (Just another Idea).
I also thought of your familiar (If you do that with the pets) Can be like a back up for Connor if he dies. (Ever see the Minecraft mod Sync??)
4419685 Well, by the alternate universe thing, I don't mean a crossover with a displaced story. Connor's job as the Cosmic King involves an entire multiverse. What's to say that there isn't a parallel multiverse with a Cosmic Queen instead? Or maybe one with a Connor who decided to be a superhero, and not a leader? (as a note, these other versions of Connor would be created by me, not by another person.)
And I've never heard of that mod before.
