Time for a Switch · 6:55am Feb 1st, 2017
So, first of all, I've submitted a new story that's currently being reviewed by the moderators. Just a quick little thing, similar to Small Changes, that will once in a while get some attention. Keep an eye out for that.
Next, and more importantly... I'm beginning to get burned out by Tartarus Forged. I'm starting to feel like I'm losing control of it, and I don't want that. So, I'm switching stories again. We're going back to The Harmony League, folks! Tartarus Forged will be put on Hiatus, and The Harmony League will be put back on Incomplete.
The first thing I'm going to do is copy all of the Ruby Flame chapters and stick them somewhere for reference. Then I'm going to delete the entirety of the Ruby Flame arc and start over from scratch. From there, I'm going to read it to catch myself up on what I have and have not done. Depending on what comes from that, we'll pick up from there.
To be clear, a lot of the stuff in the Ruby Flame arc is still usable, hence why I'm copying it. I can reuse a lot of it, but further down the line. A LOT further.
Before all of this however, I think I'm going to take a break. I might need it, as I will possibly finally soon have a job (fingers, toes,, arms, legs, hair, and eyes crossed) and not have a lot of time to spare for working on this.
*Looks at crossed appendages.* Hmmmm... I think I might need some help. I'm stuck.
EDIT: Alright, huge problem. Microsoft Word has just locked up on me. I completely forgot to purchase the stupid thing after getting my new computer, so I'm without my main document editor. I need that break now, if only so I can hunt down a copy of the software.

4405207 eh. Grew up with Microsoft Word, worked using it, got through some semesters using it. Then I found Google Drive. It's different, but come on. It's FREE. Totally worth learning.
Really sucks to hear about tartarus forged. Was chomping at the bit to see twilight's reaction to spike.

4405210 Whoa, easy there Dan! I can easily have this fixed by next week. Until then, I still have WordPad or Notepad. Preferably I'll use WordPad, as that at least has a Spellcheck function. I'm down, but I am far from out.

4405223 Holy crap it's beautiful! The fifteen gigs limit is annoying, but it'll be a while before I hit that anyways. And I assume I can just delete what I don't need anymore to make space. Fifteen gigs is easy to work with.

No, seriously. Thanks. I can already see a lot of the functions are better streamlined than in Word. This'll help a ton.
Could try one of the OpenOffice family as a replacement. On my Mac I was happily using Open Office, on my current Linux system I'm running LibreOffice. There's also WPS Office (don't like the design m'self) and I'm going to be trying out OnlyOffice (I think that's the name, my system seems to have eaten it) soon.
I really like Tartarus Forged. Hope will see you continue it soon.
Well, I can understand the need to take a break, especially with real life concerns. Not much I can say except that I wish you the best of luck on both your life AND on BOTH of your stories.
I was rereading the chapter in Harmony League where Twilight tells her family about her powers and I was wondering if you will be editing that chapter for the revised first chapter?
