Welcome, everypony. I hope you all enjoyed reading the latest chapter to the story. I understand that some of you may be wondering why I took so long to publish it (or if I was going to continue with the story at all). Well, my friends, I intend to address these questions and more in this here post. With that said, let us begin.
First and foremost, I want to apologize for taking so long to write and publish this recent chapter to my story. I originally intended to publish this chapter in 5 days, but recent changes in employment put a hamper to much of my efforts to do so. I've tried a little editing or so here and there, but in the end, making ends meet (and progressing my education) became my ultimate priority. And thus, I worked on the chapter only when I was not busy. Given both this and how it turned out, I'd say biding my time wasn't a detriment after all.
Second, I want to directly answer another important question: "Will you continue to work on this story?" My answer, fillies and gentlecolts: Yes. I certainly will. Just because it took me 5 months to post a single chapter doesn't mean I'll go back on seeing this story through to its very end. A setback is a setback. Not a killjoy, and CERTAINLY not a failure. However, I think I'll be using blog posts more frequently from now on (on a biweekly schedule at minimum). This is to ensure all my readers that I am still working on the story and indeed making progress towards the latest chapter... and hopefully to get more bronies and pegasisters to voice their opinions to me through comments. Only time will tell if, for example, you come back to this very blog post to remind me of my promise.
Lastly, I want to disclose important information regarding how the story itself will progress for the rest of its "life-span". Well, my friends, that's where the five months of M.I.A.-ness comes in. During this time, I have reflected on what I really want to show in this story, and more importantly, how I will bring it to life. And with that said, I am proud to announce that I have created a new blueprint for the story's structure. A great one, one that will be much better than any rewrite I could ever make of this tale. It will be so large, in fact, that the meaning is both literal AND metaphorical in nature. But don't worry, my friends. I assure you (especially to my old readers) that I will NOT, in any way, shape, or form, change any part of the original storyline I created so long ago. But just how will this new plan turn out? Well, it's like I said in the last chapter, my friends: that is for ME to know and YOU to find out. For now, however, just know that the best is yet to come.
So there you have it, everypony. I hope that this blog post has eased any concerns you may have for BTROAH. And on that note, I will take my leave. What do you think of this latest chapter (and my idea for the story itself)? If you want your voice to be heard, then please feel free to leave a comment on this post. An online writer can only do so much for the quality of a story without feedback from his readers. After all, it's you guys that decide whether my story is worth the likes and dislikes it has. As always, thank you for your time, and good luck with your own creative works!
I say go for it
