    Finally An Apartment

Thanks to everyone of my friends help, their support, among other things, I was quick with being able to find an apartment for myself. I got extremely lucky finding a place the same day I got evicted, and was able to get things situated.

    I Need Help - Emergency

So to put it simply, I need help. Some things had been hidden from me until the very last moment, and at 5 pm on December 4th, I will be homeless unless I figure something out living situation-wise. Unfortunately, I have no way of fighting what is coming and have to resort to desperate measures, and that means swallowing my pride and asking for help.

Resident Evil Talk - The Tyrant · 11:59am Jan 23rd, 2017

Yeah... this fucker.

So... this is, from what I understand from the wiki, are incredibly hard to make but powerful BOWs made by Umbrella that came from the T-00 Model. But as with most of the T Models, the ones wearing bulletproof coats anyway, why is it that they gave them these coats that could stop AK Rounds, but leave their head exposed?

Why not make them a helmet? Thus making them nigh unstoppable... unless you do like in Damnation and sic a A-10 Warthog on the fucker.

Just a thought I had really regarding these fuckers. Seriously... helmet...

Well if I remember correctly they also have a bomb collar. Maybe the reason why no helmets is because them sickos wanted to watch a Gallagher. Then again that was in resident evil outbreak and I'm really not sure if that is Canon or not.

It's been a while, but I distantly recall that these had some seriously enhanced bone densities.

It might not be wearing a helmet, but it's skull may be organically reinforced enough that it might as well be wearing one. Hell, It's skull might be more armor plating than anything else.

Also, keep in mind these were supposed to be part effective weapon, part weapon of terror. You have to admit a serious intimidation factor to seeing these expressionless fuckers bearing down on you, tanking everything short of high explosives and ripping through any obstacle in their way.

Resident Evil Outbreak is Canon, Operation Outbreak and I think one other wasn't...? I'm not entirely sure...

That and the Bone Density explains why they all thimp thump everytime they walk, hahaha.

That is true, I was just thinking along the lines of more protection for them. Cause honestly, when I first saw these in Outbreak, I was flipping my shit in terror :raritydespair:

Meh.
Nemesis was worse.

4393481
Worse in that he was more exposed, or worse in that he was a scary motherfucker?
Cause honestly, playing that Demo Disc I got, those jumpscares still get me!

4393485 Worse in the fact that you couldn't do SHIT to him.
The jump-scares were bad, but that can happen in almost anything, even Ark: Survival Evolved, but unlike Ark, where if you get a deep-jungle jump-scare from a Tyrannosaurus, you couldn't unload a fuck-tonne of bullets and take him down.
You'd just end up wasting your ammo.

4393497
Oooohoho he was bad like that, the dickhead :raritydespair: He always scared me! Hell, Dino Crisis still gets me, and that's a trucking terrifying game. Shame the third game makes no sense. Never played Ark though.

4393535 I got it off PSN. It's a survival-crafter with dinos and other prehistoric creatures (There's Dire Wolves, Dire Bears and Wooly Mammoths getting their arses chewed by T-Rex.) and apparently it's ridiculously difficult to play alone in comparison to the online multiplayer, but I have nothing to compare to in way of multi.
...
A friend told me I'd give up before levelling my character to 25 if I played single, so I'm taking it to at LEAST level 100 just to spite him.

4393281 Like what Hidden said and from what I can remember of Resident Evil canon lore, their heads are so reinforced that its bulletproof itself.

4393546
I've seen some videos on YT, it looks fun and I would definitely play it, if my comp didn't suck complete unadulterated ass that is, hahaha.
Level 100 eh? I wish you luck with that, nothing funner then proving someone wrong and then spiting them for it XD

4393548
I recall it too, I was just thinking of more protection for em. That and a fully armored Tyrant sounds scary. Though these things are already armored up, I was thinking of epic scifi armor.
But alas, just a thought.

If I recall, my friend told me that the coat isn't there to protect him from bullets, it's there to restrain his full power.

I remember that, in Resident Evil: Damnation, as soon as the coat burned away from a Tyrant, they mutated further and grew muscles on top of muscles, got faster and enhanced reflexes, at least enough to catch a missile in mid-air and re-direct it!

In the original Resident Evil, the test Tyrant had an exposed heart, so I believe they improved on it and the Tyrant in Resident Evil 2 was strong enough to survive all kinds of crap. They can only die through explosions, so really the coat wouldn't actually protect it from anything.

In Damnation, it went from this:
vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/residentevil/images/7/75/Damnation_Tyrant_wallpaper_cutout.png/revision/latest?cb=20130821193013

To this:
static.comicvine.com/uploads/scale_super/11112/111125956/4499702-1795219424-32.jp.jpg

Because the coat burned away.

But, then again, that could just be those ones. And I could be remembering the movie wrong.

4393555
The coat is a restraining system built onto that particular model of Tyrant, but its also bulletproof considering when Leon fired his AK at it the bullets bounced off like they were hitting metal. And that stage is called the Super Tyrant, whew... elite mofos they are when they're barreling at you. A tank round can kill em, hahaha, along with a big enough missile and A-10 Warthog bullets.

4393572 Suppose it makes sense to make the coat bulletproof, then. Not sure if it's be good if the tyrant was to mutate because a guy put a hole in the coat with a 9mm! :rainbowlaugh:

4393677
Legit though, hahaha XD

So I'm not absolutely perfectly versed on the RE lore but I'll try here... Beware of spoilers for RE3 Nemesis.
The Tyrants are the epitome of the BOW research. Most of Umbrella's tyrants are based off of one of their employees, Sergei Vladamir. They made something 10 clones of him. All of his clones are kept in check by their coats. If they don't have their coats, they devolve into monstrosities like this
vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/residentevil/images/8/80/Nemesis_tries_to_regenerate.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20120628121504
The tyrants are extremely mutation prone. By that I mean that all of the tyrants seem to mutate when they take enough damage. They become less intelligent and more feral like Lickers when they mutate. That means that they become uncontrollable. The coats are limiters that constantly inject things to keep their mutations in check. Without the coats, you end up with flesh blobs with teeth like the above. The helmets are not necessary to control them and their heads, like most of their bodies, are nearly immune to small arms fire. I guess something like a 50 BMG cartridge would paste their heads, but anything smaller than that would be like shooting a 22 round at a tank, and regardless, they can almost always regenerate from anything that you could shoot them with. Even then, sometimes they still might not be destroyed, such as when you shoot Nemesis with an experimental rail gun. If you notice, almost always the titans are always either destroyed via experimental weapons or nuked.

The exposed hearts are actually second hearts grafted onto them, or at least on the first prototype from RE1. The rest of the hearts are from a condition Sergei has called Dextrocardia which means his heart is on the opposite side as normal.

Also Resident Evil 7 is out today. Happy days are here again!

4395158
I am excited for RE7, shame I can't get it DX curses!

And yeah I follow ya, while I know their heads are nearly immune, I was just also thinking helmets would look cool on them.
Regardless... they scary beasties.
