You know, with Spideremblempony MIA, I thought we weren't going to have a MYkanuary. But, here we are! a new Starfleet Equestria girls story. And what's better, it's based off of something dear and near to my heart...POWER RANGERS!!!!
See, I may have become better with ponies, but as a wee lad, I started off writing Turtles stories (Involving Shredder and cookies) Avengers (I had Spidey there more and more) Sonic (Oh, you don't want to know...*Shudder* I didn't make a bad OC black hedgehog with a scar on one eye, that was my best friend. Yes, he was overpowered, yes, he was ancient, and yes, he had an old foe) but, most importantly...Power Rangers.
I have written, well ok told stories along side my mother, more power ranger centric fics than I can count. Kim and Tommy is my ship, and Jason was one of my favorite rangers. So, yeah, Mykan may have a little experience in writing power rangers fics, but I am an expert in writing them. I still write them.
So, without further ado...a special announcement
Sunset Shimmer: (V.O) This world, is wrong.
Sunset: (V.O) Ok, let me explian a bit (Scenes of peolpe walking by and along streets of Mystic Island's city) You know how sometimes, you find a bit of information in a book or watch something that completly changes your outlook on the world. Say like something changes a fact that you knew was true from the day you first studied it. Like if tomorrow, someone looks at you and says Two plus Two equals five and suddently the world agrees? (A building in the distance becomes fuzzy, and then dissappears. All around the people, changes begin to happen without them seeing it.)
Sunset: (V.O continues. Now it schows the class of Canterlot high walking through the hallways, talking up a storm and laughing. Sunset Shimmer sits in a chair and writes in a book.) I guess, what it boils down too.
(Camera pans down to the page of her notebook that reads)
There is a glitch in the world.
(The faces of Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie, Applejack, and Rarity speed by.)
Sunset: *Walks down a fligth of stairs* All I'm saying is that Grand Ruler makes no sense. His fortune, his power, and how he got morphing tech. IT makes no sense!
Dash: We got powers so what's the deal?
Twilight: Corruption?
(Sunset sits in front of a computer as a voice over is heard)
Glitchy voice: Too close...Help...Dav-
Fluttershy: *Looks at a little bag with curiousity* You say they came from where?
Sunset: MY computer and they say they are my friends for life.
Sunset: (V.O) It's lke nsomeone is playing a game with destiny and I need to find out who!
A woman walks into the music room, a smile on her face: HI!!!! The name is MAdylin, and boy, do we have a lot to talk about.
Rainbow Dash: (Voice over as a scene of Mdylin and the Gaia rangers morphing) So wait, there are more teams out there? And you say some of the ones recorded in the history books are wrong?
Madylin: (V.O shows her looking at a stone) Yeah, and someone kidnapped my friends. I am trying to find them and save the planet.
Applejack: (V.O as monsters attack, explosions happen, and the mane seven stand in the middle of rubble with Madylin.) So, get up, fight monsters, save the world, prove the world is wrong, and fix everything.
Dash: (Close up on her face as she says) Sounds like a blast
Madylin: My team isn't the only one that is hurting....There are others out there.
Celestia: (Smiles as she shakes the hand of a man in a poliece outfit) A pleasure to have you Mr. Grey Son
Mafylin: Some have been missing out on their temates for almost a year
The crakling cvoice: Destined...help...plea...
Madylin: Some are rangers that are my friends, others are superheores.
Pinkie: (Voice over as a young teen places an eye on a pryamid puzzle) Do any of them need a friend?
A deep voice: (Looks down at two frightened bullies) You tresspassed onto my soul.
Fluttershy: How can we help?
Dash: (Looks at Fluttershy, holding her hand) Same way as always
(A flash of light, and the scene shows the six of them on a rocky hill, looking down at a swarm of bad guys. Helmets in their hands.(
Sunset: Together.
Coming in Feburary or when I get up the courage to pull this off.
Billy: (V,O as Sunset looks at a display showing various screens) This world, is more than this.
Rangers and Titans unite
A man in shadow stands on top of a building: They know where he is.
Harmony and Justice
Sunset: (Hair blazing as she stands against a monster) Bring it on!!!!!
Destiny calling
Rarity: (Tears flowing down her cheeks) B-b-but, what about our futures?
Sunset: *Turns away* This is my future and no one is going to say differently!!!!
Legendbringer presents
Sunset: (Falls onto a grassy field, as a pony) I hope...we stay together.
Fall of Starfleet Side Story
Sunset: (Gets up and looks at the team of rangers and ponies) Always.
Equestria Girls: The Power of Friendship
A man steps in front of the Gaia Rangers: (Holds up a sword) Time to do what father could not.

Might release this concurrent with FOS, with sporadic updates until the main story is done or just a teaser chapter.
I can't wait to read this story. I really enjoy your deconstruction of Mykan's work.
A question: Does this story take place in the Equestria Girls universe and is going to show what's happening there during the main Fall of Starfleet story?

Yes, this story takes pace during kes place during the Fall of Starfleet t story and is what is going on in the EQG wold as the mane five are at war with Conquest. It is the Starfleet humans story, so it does Take place in the EQG world, it just so happens to incorperate a lot of Mykan's other stuff (i.e his Teen Titan, Digimon, and Yugioh stuff.)
