*Keep in mind this was a little side project I wanted to do with Universal Magic. However for those that care, it does contain spoilers for Universal Magic, so a fair warning in case for those that care enough to not know what happens later on in Universal Magic's future.*

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Knight. He lived on Earth and did not lead a happy life. But then one day he came across a portal that led to the outside of the universe. Here he could make anything happen. From there he found his own creations that he made up in his mind. After he met with his creations, they joined forces and started to work together to explore and have adventures in the outside of the universe. But then one day an accident occurred to where one of the creation, TK, went through a portal to another universe and ended up in the magical land known as Equestria.

However, he was not thrilled to be in this new land, so he found a way home, but someone from this new land followed him, a pony that goes by the name of Factory Dash. She wanted to join Knight and TK on their adventures, but only to know how to fight like how TK was able to fight, so all agreed to her wish and they were all a team. They soon went on many adventures such as going into space, fighting a fierce space dragon, and fighting an evil army. However, one day Knight came across one of his old creation, but the old creation did not like that he was forgotten for so long, and so he named himself TF and Knight and TF both stood as enemies to each other for many years to come. As time went on, Knight continued to experiment and discover new things about this strange place that was outside of all of the universes.
However, one day came when TF fought Knight, to where he had a trick up his sleeve and transported them to a universe where another Equestria was at and Knight and TF was stuck there for many years. After they ended up there, Knight woke up and found himself to be a young alicorn colt while TF was in his middle age years.

However, Knight was eventually adopted by a princess that ruled the land of Equestria and TF went into hiding. As years passed, Knight slowly forgot about his old home and started to accept his new home, until one day TK accidently found Knight. However, Knight received the sad news that thousands and thousands of years had passed already and Knight was missing so much time that he would never get back. So Knight decided to forget and go back to his new home until years later he remembered and wanted to go back where it all started. He soon went back to the outside of the universe, but soon found to be extremely lonely, as TK and Factory Dash had moved on with their lives.
Knight had no one, no friends, no family, and spent the next thirty thousand years alone as he sat under a tree under the night sky that he made in the outside of the universe. But then one day came when he realized not all was doom and gloom. Knight came up with the bright idea to go a universe that he knew he would love. And once again he went through a portal with TK to find a new home in an alternate universe where the magical land of Equestria lies. He went through the portal and soon TK and Knight started the long journey to find his new home. They traveled far and wide to find Knight's new home. They had crossed rivers and mountains, fought beats of many kind in the dead of night.

Eventually they were half way there and spotted a cliff that over looked a huge lake that almost seemed like an ocean. They went to the edge of the cliff and found it to show the castle, where the princesses lived at, far into the distance, and Knight knew he was close. However, TF had followed them through their travels. TF was there, ready to end it all and kill Knight and TK, but TK had finally had it with TF and was ready to kill TF despite what Knight had desired to not kill him. And on that fateful night, it would be known as the Fall, as TF had rigged explosives to blow up the cliff, TK disobeyed Knight's wishes, and Knight was all alone. TF activated the explosives, and what happened next was that TK was put back outside of the universe by TF and was forbidden to go to the universe where Knight was trapped at for a thousand years.

As for TF and Knight, they fought a little, but since they were on the cliff, they soon fell into the deep and ocean like lake. From there they got separated from each other and Knight was all alone without any guidance or peace. However, soon Knight washed on to shore nearby Cantorlot and some of the guards took notice to Knight. They brought him to the hospital in Cantorlot and there he was treated for his wounds. Soon Knight woke up and was all alone and lost in this new world that he was in just like last time. Thankfully though he wasn't a small child like last time.

So Knight used all of his strength and escaped from the hospital and made his way to Ponyville just has he had wanted. He did so without much trouble, but it was a long journey however, but eventually he made it to the Everfree Forest, right next to Ponyville. He did so and soon had to figure out a plan as to what he wanted to do next, but then he met a pack of unfriendly timber wolves. However he fought them off and killed them one by one, but one merged from the cave, all weak and scared of Knight. Knight took noticed and soon befriended the timber wolf and they soon lived in that very same cave for an entire year.

As for TF, he wasn't stopping to try and kill Knight, so he found Knight one day and tried to kill him, but sadly for him, Knight unleashed a powerful magic that he did not know he had in him. And soon he used the Royal Cantorlot Voice and gave off powerful light, to which TF retreated and Knight soon blacked out. However when he woke up, he was inside Twilight's library along with Celestia, and it turns out they had saw his amazing feat and Celestia wanted to make him her personal student to teach him the magic abilities that he possessed. Knight agreed, and along with his new friend Wolf, they went to Cantorlot and Knight went to school.

He had made new friends, found two odd characters from the an alternate Final Fantasy XV universe, TF trying to kill him once more, and learning new things about the world he was in. Knight did lie to everypony about his past, but for the mean time, he was alright. Then one day Celestia and Luna had put two and two together and figured that Knight was part of a second set of elements known as the Elements of Protection.

So Knight put two and two together and noticed that history was repeating itself and he was going to do what Twilight had done and make new friends. That is what exactly happened and Knight went to a small town called Stalia, not too far from Ponyville and on the other side of the Everfree Forest too. He went there and made friends with Neon Party, Classy Jack, Arrell, Forest Fire, and Mac Farmer. They were very odd and at times not too very nice to each other, but they were all friends nonetheless and soon became Equestria's Knight in Shining Armor as they fought off beasts and monsters. They had protected Equestria from threats from outside of the universe and even villains that not even the Elements of Harmony could not defeat. And at one point TK and Factory Dash returned to help Knight to solve many mysteries that had arrived while they were there, along with making a new friend from an alternate universe named The Masked Ghost who led an army of people who were all alone, but banded together to become one as a family.

They even met the Universe itself. As the years passed, Knight slowly showed his Elements of Protection friends who he really was and they embraced him with open hooves. However one day Knight received some surprising news and that he was somehow the little brother of Celestia and Luna. Knight didn't believe at first and refused to until all the evidence slowly presented itself. Knight was confused, but even worse, the lies that he had told about his past finally caught up to him and Celestia and the others finally knew who he really was.

They went after him, but after a long journey that involved Knight and Twilight being stuck on Knight's universe and trying to find a way back home, they got back home and everything was explained and Knight is somehow still the little brother of the two Royal Sisters. It was a mystery to be solved later, but Knight and his other friends and companions continued to have more adventures and encounters, even to go as far as to go to other alternate universe from other universes. They made new enemies, but also made new friends as well. Knight even got to meet his real mother and started to bond with her.

As time went on, Knight had arguments with his big Sister Celestia and had a complicated life, all the while keeping the secret of him being the brother of the two Royal Sisters from every pony else in Equestria until one day when a villain that was a machine that tried to become a kind of god. However he had failed and it ended with one huge battle, but it also revealed to the rest of Equestria of who Knight really was. However every other pony accepted him with open hooves. Afterwards, Knight even started a little UN related place called the UU in the outside of the universe where all the universe would gather and work together, or at least as many universes that Knight could get that is. And time continued to move forward, as Knight became prince of Equestria and the leader of the UU.

However not all was alright as Knight grew older and wiser, he was even over a thousand years old. Sure he had figured how he was born in the wrong universe, but he felt old despite knowing he was going to live forever and ever and for all of eternity. He started to feel a little nostalgic for the past and yearned to go back to how things used to be when he was a student of Celestia. Things changed and Knight tried to run away and tried to relieve his past once more, but failed and in the end, all seemed to be coming to end of his adventures, he had to make a difficult choice, which made 6.5 different kind of endings to this tale. One ending in another universe ended in randomness, while another ended in a happily ever after and with all relationships patched up. Another ended with every one dying and another with Knight sacrificing himself. One ended in Knight killing all of his friends and family by his own hand out of the darkness from his heart that he embraced and soon became king of Equestria, but an evil one with evil thoughts and desires. One ended with Knight's friends dying and having his back broken. However, the real ending ended in despair, but naturally.

Knight chose to live a life between human and ponies, but the problem was that he could not have both and he soon faced the consequences of it as his friends paid the price with their lives and Knight had to face time itself as some of his friends died of old age. Others died as friends killed other friends and others left due to difficulties within their lives. Some just completely vanished or didn't want things to do more with Knight. And as things changed, all Knight had left was his real family as the rest went simply away without another word.

However, Knight wasn't completely in darkness, as he shined a little light on the darkness. His last words were before he went back to live with his true family, "My mum told me that one day everything will be ok one day...and you know what I said? Ok...." Knight then went to live as a pony forever and ever and for all of eternity and to never look back and to remember what had happened as one long nightmare that he couldn't wake up from.
