Look at it this way. You could make a story with every most popular fetish. Some HiE, incest, poly, spanking, feet/hooves, throw in a little bit of cum inflation, possible impregnation, give it a bare bones plot, a rushed once over for editing and throw it on the queue. With your followers and some proper placement in the right groups, thing'll have 500 likes by Friday. But they won't really mean much. You brought some people some physical satisfaction. Laudable, but not exactly intellectual.

Or you continue crafting something that really means something to you, something with a message, something important, and when you finally finish and post it... it only gets half the likes/views/comments of the previous fic. Maybe even less. But, the important thing is those people liked it for what you were trying to give them. They liked your story, your message. I suppose if it includes clop, you might have a few that only enjoyed it because it pressed their buttons, but you can rest assured the numbers on that fic will mean a hell of a lot more (based on the impression I'm getting from you) than the numbers on the former.
