Random Idea #36: Deus Ex x Zootopia crossover · 11:45pm Dec 23rd, 2016

Okay, Zootopia as is might be a bit difficult, besides the sole connecting line of cops being in focus, but the Zistopia webcomic AU inspires some ideas, one of which is the prey-half of the population being a hell of a lot more aggressive and manipulating.

Someone out of a misguided sense of philanthropy wanted to elevate prey somehow to a level of preds. Against all odds, it manages to get the funding to do so, but instead applicants soon find out they get trapped with the same hate and fear the power brings.

The divide worsens, everyone starts hating each other, and the few who try to make a difference get stomped over by powers beyond their control.

Hmm...

Not a bad idea, as such, but it seems like it could have some serious issues with unfortunate implications. Given how messy the predators' are minorities meteaphor already was, I mean.
