This Christmas Eve

Hey everyone, I want to take the moment to ask you guys and gals what your opinion for what I'm about to propose.

So far the past two weeks I've been working on the second chapter of Maid to Serve - editing and proofreading and such - and I've got just a little bit left to finish until I'm completely done. However, when I went back to re-read the first chapter(which I failed to do when I started this back up two weeks ago,) I noticed there were a lot of grammar issues as well as a few inconsistencies. I was also getting help by two readers who donated their time to assist me in proofreading and editing(whom I'll mention in the author's notes when this chapter comes out,) and they pointed out some key mistakes that would have drove this story straight to the grave had I not went back and fixed them.

Now, I don't want to waste a whole lot of time going into details, so I'll cut straight to the question:

Would you guys mind if I were to wait until Christmas Day to post the new chapter?

I want to go back and edit the first one to make it more clean and smooth because if I post the second chapter, it will most likely highlight a few inconsistencies, and I don't want you guys to draw some unsavory thoughts about the problems. I really think these updates are necessary to the story.

I know I'm taking way to long and I've made a few promises that I haven't lived up to throughout the year, but I'm really trying to correct myself.

Hopefully the second chapter lives up to the first and you guys enjoy it, it was a pain in the ass to write, mainly because I kept trying to edit the story as I was writing the rough draft and that sort of threw me off-course several times.

But anyways, yeah: Let me know what you think about this and whether it sits well with you guys.

Also, I've been working on a coverart for the story - it's not that great of a coverart, but I just can't handle the fact I don't have any sort of picture.
